the heavy starter motor from a truck you have sitting up there weighs 10kg .. take it off ,, try it i saw one do it no stick shakes,, and make one more video

@@omeobandit9928 there must be a reason why many use a cable up to the pre rotor, I think it is to avoid having heavy things up there??

@@gertkristensen6451 and also the flexible shaft systems can spin the rotors to a faster rpm than the small electric motor

Looking at the sign, I guess he needs glasses. Is someone from ASRA looking into this. He kills himself or you, it makes all gyro pilots like cowboys.

This bloke was an ASRA instructor for 20 years and taught many good pilots including David Bird (birdy). He comes from the era where they taught themself to fly in volkswagen powered machines as there were no instructors around. He has been building and flying gyros most of his life. We sound loose but we're having fun, he knows what his doing and this is what the process looks like test flying a homemade machine for the first time. It's not always pretty.
