As they say, "Melancholy is the happiness of feeling sad". We don't pay attention, to the little things in our lives everyday, to the people around us, the moments we share. We argue, we fight over petty stuff, we move away from everyone. And then some time later we realize the nostalgia, the little things we hated doing, the people we ignored, the moments we took for granted. Those moments were the most beautiful ones. It's always the little things that matter most. Those memories hit us right to the soul. We sob. We wipe those tears and we move on, again and again.. Every human being is hard-wired for connection, wants to feel included, and wants to be loved. Is it so hard for us to be kind to others, to be compassionate, to be empathetic? Why do we feel 'over the moon' when we make someone smile, when we help someone in need, when someone listens to our boring stories? ~ Because that's what makes us Human . So let's be that.

It's so mind-fucking to think that so many people 100 years ago had their own sense of awareness, their own problems, they went through childhood, had friends in elementary school, first crush, first kiss, first heartbreak, first job, read books, walked down streets, looked up at the sky, experienced life in their own way... idk, I can't explain it, but it's trippy. All these lives that are now just a memory somewhere.

I think it gives perspective on life. The things we are anxious about will probably not matter in eternity. We are programmed to reach the ultimate good and our ultimate happiness.

There’s something to be said about the way Max Richter can literally hijack your emotions with just a couple of chords on a piano. Seconds in and I felt both nostalgia and melancholy, but for the first time in a little while my mind felt at peace. Max truly is a master of his craft

Deep under the earth, I sail past you and continue to search in vain, Following seams of gold to some imagined centre, Clutching my map and my torch, That I may be ensconced in your eyes, Glittering with the dots and diamonds of whatever waters lie within, I am a seeker, But I've long passed you by, You were right there, Right there.

Those who wish to never depart this world are the most foolish of all, because they forget that the only thing that makes life worth living is the experiences you share with the people you love. They will not realize this until one by one, they see their friends, family, their love, slip away to a place far beyond our sight. They will know then, and only then, that without love, there is no life. No scientist on all the earth could ever synthesize a friend, a family member, a love. So let the fools and hypocrites worry about wealth and power, for when we enter our heaven, the only riches one can possess is the love they have for other people. The day when they finally slip away, they will be less than the commoner they strangled with their golden chain. Then, the last will be first, the weak made strong, the tired made rested. Then we shall have our vengeance, not of violence or spite, but of compassion and love, for the coldest place of all is a place without you.

I'm sorry that I wasn't good enough. Thank you for the memories; the good ones and the bad. I enjoyed every moment, but now I must say goodnight. Saying goodbye means we won't meet again, but meet again we shall. In that place in the clouds, where all you have ever loved is waiting with arms wide. Goodnight, my love. Rest your weary head and know that the stars were created for you. Every moment in history, every recorded event ever lead up to this. Now. In this moment, you can do anything. The universe is out there, and you can see it all, even when I'm not by your side. It'll be tough for a while, but soon you'll find another galaxy, and the pain will be forgotten. I'll be forgotten. But that's ok. I'll keep my distance, and hold onto the memories we never had...

Write your books to this. I know i wrote at least half of my nearly finished one to max richter in general. Just make sure to also try reading it WITHOUT the music. Sometimes the background is so beautiful, it makes you think your prose is better than it actually is. Your reader won't have the benefit of a soundtrack. But it sure helps to get you there. Well at least if you're writing something that requires emotion.

The motion pictures look like they were made in mid- to late-30s. I watched this twice. The Empire State Bldg was completed around 1931. I was born ten years later. I have a childhood feel of the technology and culture of the time. Note how the movie-maker emphasised the tallest building in the world--at the time. Prohibition was ended Dec 1933. Note hints in the movie that alcohol was being legally brewed, and liquor was being legally sold. The dress, hair style, cars, clothing, the quality of the film itself strongly suggests pre-WWII.

“Behind every image, something has disappeared. And that is the source of its fascination,” writes French theorist Jean Baudrillard in Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared? In this, one of the last texts written before his death in March 2007, Baudrillard meditates poignantly on the question of disappearance. Throughout, he weaves an intricate set of variations on his theme, ranging from the potential disappearance of humanity as a result of the fulfillment of its goal of world mastery to the vanishing of reality due to the continual transmutation of the real into the virtual. Along the way, he takes in the more conventional question of the philosophical “subject,” whose disappearance has, in his view, been caused by a “pulverization of consciousness into all the interstices of reality.” in Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared? by Jean Baudrillard (Author), Alain Willaume (Photographer), Chris Turner (Translator) Publisher: Seagull Books (November 15, 2009)

C'mon, now, don't say that. Part of life is continually grappling with not being perfect, and sometimes in the process of refining ourselves we draw support from others. It can be a burden, but isn't a burden of another person, someone we care about, the most worthwhile kind of burden? Life still has so much in store. It's worth sticking around, even though sometimes life can push us away. The most beautiful, worthwhile things are worth fighting for, working hard for and persevering through. Include yourself and your life in that.

Beware the feline! They say cats don't love, And their meowing is subtle manipulation. When I came across an anabandoned kitten, I fed it, and didn't have a second thought. No further expectations. But when I closed the door on her, she wailed. Even after I fed her, she didn't want to be alone. It felt sublime, I could tell she missed her mother. She wanted something beyond survival. She wanted to rub herself against another being. She wanted warmth, not just of the sun, the warmth of intimacy! She wanted to fiddle around with my hands that fidgeted unpredictably. Not with objects, they are predictable. Consciousness is not, playfulness is not. And she wanted a piece of that. Even if, even if she was just a furry ball of primitive instincts incapable of love, She still is love. For she can evoke it from deep within me. To love is to create, a ripple out of the ordinary. Maybe she couldn't do it herself, but she can trigger it within me. That's probably all that's needed in a connection.

I haven't gone anywhere I'm not going to allow al these stories to take my time and life up. So I check in on you from time to time but I being hatefully toward me is not the becoming. If feed into it then I be come consumed by it. I'm going to Focus on me right now you al,let broke me but I still have the fight in me to over come and adapt. Nothing and no one can have power of me for I am who I am it's time to learn who the fuck I am. I don't care if you set and watch or not. No one is worth my life. I will choose who stays and who goes. Right now it's just me it need to be just me. Seems like the ones that love u most just want to put up in the ground. Good thing it not way bc I decide my nextchapter. You and no one else has any say in that. I know where I'm at and what I'm doing is just depressing. This is the hardes fight I'm scared to do it alone been hold on the you as a safety net. Now it's just me and myself either I go get help or I start a new page. Called d.a.r.s. Got forward 4 times to just leave a message. I'm broken but I'll heal back to 100% I've done this before I can do this again. And David I love u bro but if things rent going to be the same I can't be around it. It has nothing to do with you. Your my best friend it hurts just as much. I when I turn myself back to a Man U never knewn and crystal has never knewn what miss Lisa said about jake the clean jake. He bring smiles to ppls faces not anger in there heart. Look around I'm the one smiling
