i was able to "beat" him once, and even then i was being carried hard by 3 randos. They were kinda joking and aksed me if i want to try fightng Alatreon, but somewhere along the line they got serious.

Do you realize that stickers are purely cosmetic and not even that desired. I buy them just to throw money at Capcom (MHW for 60$ gave me 2000 hours = 0,03$ per hour of fun)

The Safi quest is called the "the red dragon." Capcom distanced Safi itself away from a black dragon.

It looks like he can finally control his powers. Every element seems to be a transformation/power up. He's also seems to be MIXING ELEMENTS. THAT'S CRAZY!

@@p0laris74yt8 None of the monster of MHWI were god like monster or the officially called "Black Dragons", Alatreon will be the first in the game, the other five are the Fatalis trio and the Dire Miralis. And well, technically there 2 or 3 more but only one has a little chance to come to the west, the relative of Alatreon from the Monster Hunter Frontier (sub-series) Disufiroa, but the other 2 the Mephistophelin and his Elemental variation they have no chance whatsoever on legal issues.

Alatreon has been my favorite Monster in the series ever since I fought for the first time in MH Tri's online city quests. I fell in love with it that day, and I grew a vicious hatred of it for how difficult it was to fight. But maybe that's another reason why I love it so much. Something so cool, the pinnacle of power in that game, that had my sense of style written all over it would be my greatest challenge of skill. It felt orgasmic when I beat it the first time and went to go forge its armor. But RNG had other plans for me...

Historically Alatreon used Lightning and Ice while airborne meanwhile using Fire and Dragon on ground. I have a sneaking suspicion that this rule will be bent in World with all the new game capabilities. Excitement though, I’ve never noticed the Oni/ogre design of Alatreons face but I’m hype for it now.

No, absolutely not.

To @Maximillian Dood and anybody else whos planning on fighting Alatreon, just to be aware that its elemental attacks are unstable as hell! According to people who fought against this Elder Dragon, Alatreon control over the Dragon, Fire, Thunder, and Ice elements. When weakened, Alatreon will fly high into the air and rain down ice crystals. Some ice crystals fall on random spots while others may target certain players. Alatreon will only use the Ice and Thunder elements while in the air. It is said that it has the abilities of all the True Elder Dragons (Kushala Daora, Chameleos, Lunastra and Teostra), although, since it is elementally unstable, it is unable to truly harness that power. Its weaknesses are mostly Ice and Dragon but when its flying its weak to Fire but when its on ground mode,its weak to Water.

The ice crystal drop was its ultimate attack. Considering Velkhana now does that, my guess is that Alatreon is going to do a multi elemental explosion.

With power creep comes more difficult monsters to curtail those who rely to much on attacking without strategy. In my opinion it's a best of both worlds situation. The skilled get better and those that have a more difficult time aren't left completely in the dust.

When I first fought rajang and got grabbed I had my vitality mantle on and it survived through his blast which was so insane lol.

Alatreon was my favorite monster to hunt from Tri. I made a wicked armor set and Switch Axe from him. Now if we could get some Jhen Moran love!

Max didn't catch that the palico monkey skin is Sonson, who also apears in Marvel vs Capcom 2.

I like this dev update though this game is tough at times!

The only way you'll cart is if you get one shot and you gotta have some low armor considering my favorite HH has XL Defense boost, the negate stun buff is just a bonus~

To me, it doesn't matter if it's the Old World or the New World. If it's Alatreon we're up against, then we're f#*@$d 4 times over. And i'm looking forward to that too.

The Raging Bracy armor might look mundane, but the weapons look incredible.

Probably not. I suppose they could give it the Lagiacrus treatment, but it'd be kind of hard to translate it into a fight with no swimming mechanics. Still, i'd be happy to see it :O

God, I really want to get into the Monster Hunter World craze but I just don't have the time with all these games. First MH game was Tri on the Wii and I loved it.

Returning monsters for MHW are the highlights for me. Raging Brachydios, Furious Rajang and Alatreon oh yeah

The last air bender is back to gear check ya.

Everyone is gonna play it my man. Keep making videos it's been a while since I watched but I'm back baby.

Just like mh3 I gotta grind all the Alatreon armor and weapons. Praying for horns

Just wait until you have to break the horns twice just to get SkySwayers or SkyPiercers.

I wonder if the four player strat 2para2Hammer I think it was, will work for Alatreon.

My greatest moment in my video game life was killing Ala with a SA discharge midair while flying towards me in MhTri. I dont think thats gonna happen with this one....

I don't play World anymore but I'm so glad that it's still getting so much stuff.

Why not play again?

I think if they’re adding a Black Dragon it should be this strong, as they’re meant to be some of the hardest to kill.

No one see the DBZ elements in the monster. It lost its tail and went ssj then it had a rage boost and went ssj2 lol

I tried raging brachy for about 3 straight hours and couldn’t finish a single hunt.

Just realised you will be able to use Safi dual blades or whatever is the best and make em look like fish!
