Eric is basically like a big brother to BTS. He has been such a big fan of there since their debut, and throughout these podcasts you can hear him talk about his love for the boys. I always assumed that they were friends, but this just confirms it.

I'm so glad Yoongi has a genuine friend like Max. When Yoongi talked about not having a lot of friends, I was sad for him. It's really nice that Max shares a love of basketball and took Yoongi to the game which honored Kobe Bryant. A special memory. Max's voice is perfect for "Burn It." I hope they stay good friends for a long time. And Eric, you have the best personality. I'm also glad the boys have a true friend like you.

Totally agree. I've been watching Max on Kurt Hugo Schneider's challenge and was blown away by how high his vocal range could go. When I heard he was doing a collab with Yoongi, I was like. .. boom this gonna be the bomb!

I swear to god I thought MAX was an up and coming artist when I heard about him and Yoongi. Then after the mixtape dropped, I searched him and MY GOD I'M A DUMBASS. I knew him as Max Schneider from Nick and the movie he did with Keke Palmer. I've known this man since I was a kid! Btw Rags is a BOMBASS movie and no one can tell me otherwise.

the fact that bts are still actively hanging out with their friends makes me happy, especially eric who has literally been with them since the start.

"they just wanna make sure you're not full of it" max gets it man, he knows how many people out there are foaming at the mouth to use BTS and their success to boost their own careers, and that's why a lot of fans are wary when they get approached by western artists for collabs and stuff. but max seems like such a genuine dude with a real appreciation for them. it's an awesome song and i was blown away by max's voice. definitely gotta look at his music now.

I love how yoongi basically goes on the best dates with his collab artists. Like he commits to the friendship on a level I can really respect

I feel so bad for him, everyone on twitter was like “I’m tired of seeing this man” because he kept teasing the collab!! But he delivered and I’m so happy. He seems so genuinely kind too, thats awesome.

MAX just seems like such a genuine guy I’m so glad him and yoongi kicked off like that and gave us such an amazing song they sound fantastic together. It’s just something about celebs talking about BTS bc we know how genuine the guys are but it’s always really nice to hear it from a third party.

I'm just saying but Max's eyes were filled with so much passion and love for the project and for working with Suga, and this is exactly the face I'm making every time I think about what an amazing mixtape we were blessed with! Heart eyes 😍

I was just smiling the whole time watching this interview. It wasn't like an interview at all. You two were just like talking how awesome a common friend of yours is. Eric Nam, I've always love how a great man you are. Much love and support for the both of you! 💜

Max being aware he was teasing that song for sooo long... 🤣 but all that teasing was worth it, "Burn It" is easily one of the best tracks on D-2! 💜
