really??? out of all the great yoongi contents out there, they really chose to react to this video full of exaggerated and out of context clips for HIS BIRTHDAY???

I can’t believe people still recommend this video. Yoongi has said he has a hard time showing his emotions and he is worried some people would misunderstand him. So just wanted to comment that if any new armys sees this video please don’t think that bts really are scared of yoongi because it’s not true at all. They all love him a lot (Sry if I wrote something wrong English is not my first language)

I agree with. When I first saw this video few months back I thought he was probably the scariest and coldest member. But after watching mote of them I hv realised he is actually very sweet and patient man just not very comfortable expressing it which is totally fine. nobody believes he’s scary anymore. he is the sweetest, goofiest hyung who loves tangerines and holding hands. he’s shy about affection and cares so much for the members. this video is so old and a lot of these clips are so out of context. you don’t know the full story with this old video. please remember Yoongi is so kind and loving and isn’t mean or scary. the members aren’t actually scared of him. he’s a very soft person with a lot of love to give. he’s afraid of being misunderstood. don’t believe this video too much.

But despite of how intimidating suga is, we all know how lovable, sweet and caring he is. That's why he is so charming

I know that the boys are watching every single reaction video of ARMY and they watch fan fics videos and also ship videos. They know exactly what we are doing. Namjoon and Bang PD confirmed it. If he did he would have mentioned it, because he's someone who quickly tells you what he thinks about things. He's straight forward. That's why I love him. We even call Namjoon Namjesus. They know about that.

Min Yoongi rarely, as it as been reported, raises his voice. He is quite and loves the members very much. "Still waters, run deep".

To any baby army that might see this, this edit is a bad portrayal of Suga. Min Yoongi is actually the sweetest most caring person out there. He loves the members so much and they love him just as much. His personality can be quiet at times but that doesn't mean he is mean or angry and the members know that and respect his boundaries. The reason he is seen sleeping most of the time backstage is because he stays up all night working on music not because he is lazy. These kinds of video edits should be left in the past and not brought back up to new armys who are trying to learn more about bts. Thank you for reading, please stream Daechwita.

I agree with 99% of your statement. While yes new army should wait to watch this video until they get to know Yoongi so that they know what he's really like, the moments in these clips are just as real and a part of Yoongi as anything else. Everyone in the world has moments where they don't want to be fucked with. Pretending any different takes part of that person away. You can't just pretend like it hasn't happened or won't happen again. These moments are very small moments that Yoongi has but is still a part of him.

I watched this video when I wasn't a fan and I fully understood that it was exaggerated for entertainment purposes. Videos like this are what actually got me into BTS because I started getting into their inside jokes and I thought its cool how they joke around about suga being savage. I mean it's very obviously not a serious video analyzing why suga is bad or whatever. It's just an edit of moments where suga was super straight forward etc (BTS also joke about these things). I mean it's just logical that if suga was savage in the mean way, then their teamwork would not be as good and their relationships would definitely not be as good as they are. I think we need to apply more logic to videos like this. Most edits are exaggerated for entertainment purposes like the funny interview edits for example. If you watch the original videos they're usually interesting because of what is being said but the edits show BTS being extremely bored or just not paying attention or are just super attracted to the interviewer😂 And it's not real but it isn't rude or disrespectful either just because it's over exaggerated

I hate when people see jimin's sassy attitude as "funny/fierce" , or tae's poker face as "sexy".. but when it comes to yoongi who's the most peaceful kind person they paint him as "savage/scary" I'm okay with these videos if you already know them well. BUT for new people it paints the wrong picture and it never leaves!! *BTW I enjoyed your video as always!*

Yoongi is a loveable sweetikins. He is my bias because he is caring, helpful, a great listener, genius musician, dedicated, loyal and humble. Just don't come for him, his family or the members/bighit. He handles any "problem questions" from the press and protects everyone. He takes out the trash, builds the furniture and fixes the tv. My suga cares deeply for us all, just dont disturb his sleep💜💜

They respect him cuz he is the oldest , specially in those time when he wasn't having it, it's like kids being "scared " of their dad when they know he is not with the right humor but would love to play with him when he is on the right humor , but now the "kids " are all grown up and the dad is relax cuz their "kids "are good. Sometimes I see people confused at the bit starting at 6:43. It's a cultural thing. Suga and Jin are older than the rest, so it is impolite for the younger ones to call their names informally by saying Ya, Suga! Ya (hey) Jin! This is something only older or same age people should do unless having been given express permission by that person to speak informally. The younger members should say Suga-hyung, Jin-hyung when speaking to or about them. So the guys were being VERY NAUGHTY by saying their names without adding honorifics, that's why they were giggling, because Suga wasn't there to hear them doing it. Jin was, in fact, there and could hear them but they're not scared of Jin at all.😂

I know you guys are super respectful and intelligent so you know there’s more to Yoongi than this image they paint of him. I think people take his reserved nature, need for personal space and dry sense of humor as “scary” and he Can be blunt and “savage” but he is super loving and a quiet and calm person which I think people misunderstand. Sorry for the rambling; I always love your guys’ reactions so I hope you don’t misunderstand! I just get nervous at the amount of new ARMYs that find these old KZread videos that paint one trait of the boys in such an exaggerated light and take it as gospel has gotten me on guard especially when they dismiss his caring, shy, intelligent, funny, kind, talented nature. This entire video is showing the members respecting his boundaries. The title is just for fun, but nothing in here makes claims that he is a mean or cold person. @@enicole1203 I agree that the video was made for fun and the only real problem people have with it is the wording of the Title and yes the Stereotyping of the members can be annoying but again if people don’t want to use their brain cells and put 2 and 2 together that’s on them you can’t hold the whole fandom accountable for what a few people think especially on the internet. If the person doesn’t want to take the effort to learn the members by watching other content beside “compilation videos” then that’s on them.

He's not scary. I don't think he's ever even raised his voice in anger to any of his brothers in BTS.

7:18 Yeah they stayed silent for like 10 secs and the next moment they called him an idiot with an IQ of 50 lmao. This video is just really short clips of Yoongi taken out of context. I mean it maybe funny but videos like these are the ones that spread this Yoongi is a lazy cold hearted person agenda which he also addressed one time saying how people misunderstand him coz he's not good at expressing his feelings and said that he indeed loves us, he's very thankful and he's very sorry that he's not good at conveying those emotions. And when he interrupted tae, it's actually hobi who tells him to take over. We can actually see him telling Yoongi that in the background. I just hope this narrative stops coz he's one of the kindest and purest souls.

this video is from 2017, and honestly even back then the clips were taken out of context anyway, i have no idea where anyone got this 'savage scary suga' image from, hes a softie. none of them have ever been scared of yoongi, it's usually more of a respect thing due to him being second oldest. but the way that the younger members tease him and play with him you can tell that they are NOT scared of him. he is a softie, everyone knows that. he lets the maknae line get away with so much, because they always show him respect regardless of how much they tease him or play with him. i recommend you watch "yoongi has a soft spot for jungkook" by the channel 'jiminugh' next so you can see how soft he really is :)

@@cg558 I actually felt really sad when I realised that I believed what videos like this said, exaggerating his savageness and all. Because of this, I didn't relate to him a lot in the beginning. When people point out something, people tend to focus on these specific characteristics and miss out on the rest. Sadly, there weren't only these videos, armys also spread this stereotype and talked about it in social media. Now his soft and generous and kind and talented self is more seen and talked, specially on twt i think, for which I'm very glad. Btw! I watched this exsct video when I became an army in 2017/2018, so I'm not just a casual listener 😊 I see your point, but I think armys reminding and letting other armys know that videos like these are only a joke and an exaggeration is very important. As long as they don't insult the creator, I don't see the problem!

Y'all are being weird about this. It's simply a compilation that shows the guys don't mess around with Yoongi the same way as the others, simply because as Jin says at the end, that's not his sense of humor and they respect that. At no point does it make any claims about his personality or that he's not kind or warm - as a matter of fact, the fact that they know to stop their jokes at his boundaries demonstrates the amount of respect they have for him.

Nothing in this makes any claims that he's mean or they don't like him. Some people like these kinds of jokes, some people like other ways to show friendship. They learned his ways so they adjust their playing around for that. There is nothing misleading about them showing him respect.

@Diba Mansur anyone could have reacted to anything, don't blame these guys for seeing something interesting and wanting to check it out. And none of the moments are "exaggerated" they're literally just clips of actual footage. What happened happened, you can't claim the guys DIDN'T make the decision not to mess around with Yoongi in the same way because they did make that decision. And why? Because his sense of humor is different and they respect that. This video literally SHOWS them understanding and respecting his personality and his wishes.

Actually edits are not good. Suga is not scary. Tae moved to side but yoongi rapped because jhope said him to rap and in full video, Tae yoongi rapped together. Suga sleeps less that time due to writing lyrics. And same for RM too. So he barely sleeps. And sleepless nights and disturbed in his sleep, anyone would curse. Lol. And its just edit make more impact. The real scary members are Jhope and Jimin

I get what some people are saying about people making this bigger than it is... but you’re all most likely saying this from the perspective of someone who’s been an army for a while and you know the boys and their personalities well. The problem with this video is that 1) It can be extremely misleading to newer fans. I know these types of videos lead me to believe Yoongi is completely different to how he is in actuality when I first became a fan. And 2) how do you think Yoongi would feel about clips like this being taken out of context? He’s talked in his vlives about how his mindset has changed from how it used to be then to how it is now. He’s reflected that in his music... it was the whole basis for Daechwita... his emotions and his mindset are a SERIOUS thing just like everyone’s. Serious enough that his first mixtape documented the struggles he was dealing with, in terms of both himself and with the way people treat BTS. The way he acted and his mindset at the time reflected the way he felt and you can see that in these clips. He then went on to create D-2 which documented his growth and how he doesn’t hold anger towards people like he did when he made Agust D (he said this himself in his D-2 VLive) and you can see that his mental state has changed and he’s become a lot more carefree, bright and happy in the last couple of years (he also said in the D-2 VLive that he has become self confident and happy now, compared to how he was then). You just have to watch things like RUN, Bon Voyage 4 and In the Soop to see. For the people who make the argument of “well Jin said he’s scary” well yes he did... but Jin is his close friend, practically his brother. Fans are not that, and there seriously needs to be some reevaluation from some of these creators and some lines drawn. He said all of those things in his music, he’s talked about his struggles. Talked about how it impacted him as a person and people wanna say “it’s a joke.” Yeah alright... funny joke 🙄 Some people clearly don’t listen to the boys and what they say, and it shows. They’re not movie characters with one dimensional personalities... he’s not the ‘savage’ one.. he’s a real human being with real feelings, real struggles and you’re driving him into this box and making him out to be something he’s not and trying to pass it off as a ‘joke’ and ‘not that serious’... hmm

I agree with you the compilations can be very misleading. All of them are taking a point of view of the content creator and clips out of context. Whether it is for humor or informational purposes. As for your 2nd point while I'm not sure what Suga thinks about things like this - I personally don't think he would be too upset about it. He might roll his eyes. But I also believe he has a good sense of humor and would see this as a joke.

Maybe I could’ve worded it better, but the main point I meant to make there is that making a joke or stereotype out of someone’s emotions or the way they communicate shouldn’t become a habit or something that’s normalised because you’re essentially making light of how someone is feeling and how someone’s personality comes across. Maybe HE would take it as a joke... but it’s the principle. If people think it’s ok to box someone in like that and make fun and base a stereotype of someone’s emotions and circumstances, they could cause some real damage one day if they pick the wrong person. He didn’t make those mixtapes over years and then talk us through every track and tell us about how he was feeling and his thought processes and the way his circumstances and mental health issues made him conduct himself in his daily life for nothing. I’m sure if these types of videos got far more wide spread and this was a bigger problem than it is and literally everyone had the wrong idea how who he is and his personality that he’d be pretty upset. So by warning people about these types videos and encouraging them to watch and read the right things, we’re avoiding that false narrative being spread.

The clips mostly show times when he is asleep. No one would like to be bothered when sleeping but people just take it as he is scary. Suga is so sweet and is so incredibly patient when it comes to the members and their goofiness. And he joins them often that people claiming he is scary or mean is just wrong. He just like his alone time but he always participate and become all active and goofy like the rest. They just respect him and people just see it as being scared of him. Bts have even said themselves that the scariest members when mad are J-Hope and Jimin.

yeah, they both jimin and tae cause they're the youngest, but yoongi stays up making music and working, and he's probably crankier when he wakes up. Plus, jimin and tae bother them a lot when they sleep, so it's only fair lol.

you should do a reaction to 'how bts loves yoongi/suga' since its his bday.... we all know at this point that he is not scary :P

We all know that Suga is a sweetheart to his members..but his work ethic is so savage, that he has his own sleep schedule. Its outta respect that the guys don't interrupt his sleep.

*Not related to this video at all, but I found out that yoongi left his home at 16 . He said "I used to work as a studio engineer while composing and performing at the same time in Daegu. But there was no one when I performed. 50 people was a lot. I lost money every day, I didn't even have money to eat after performing. Because his parents did not support him at all. Iam in no way blaming his parents, just stating the facts, things happend, people move on. Suga begins by saying this occurred for half a year and then reveals "As for me...[my parents] were very much against [me becoming a rapper] to make me reconsider [my choice], they hit [me] and fought, and things like this...so I made music [under those circumstances]. And he had social phobia and anxiety at the time---yall..this man is strong. Everything stated here is cross checked with sources from radio show interviews etc.*

Yoongi is so sweet and this stereotype has always been weird to me. Even from the beginning you can see that he was very caring, he was just shy and didn't know how to express it. Over the years we've seen him get more comfortable expressing it. Yeah, he may still be introverted but never terrifying. Some of these clips are funny but we have a better understanding of who Yoongi is. 💜💜

This video is sadly too popular and when baby armys watch it they immediately believe Yoongi is nothing but a savage, cold-hearted man, a man with talent, of course, but savage nonetheless. Of course it's a video with entertaining purposes, but some fans don't want or don't have the time to watch the full videos so they don't understand the context properly. When someone is described in some way, people tend to focus on these specific characteristics, and they miss out on the rest. Sometimes, the baby armys that I mentioned before don't see that all seven members diss each other constantly, they don't see that Yoongi is a beautiful person who does a lot for their members and lets them do what they want, they don't see that his patience is gold (just ask Jungkook), they don't see that he's an introverted person who sometimes can't make eye contact with his members. Sadly, I too watched this video when I was a baby army, and it wasn't until I got to know him (by watching way too many /full/ videos) that I realised that his savageness is taken too seriously and seen as something that represents his whole self, when in reality his personality is much more than that 💜

Guys .. I’m pretty sure they know that Suga isn’t really mean and is actually caring and warm when it comes to the members...

Yoongi has said himself that he used to have a hard time dealing with so many people being in his space. He wasn't used to it & it made him uncomfortable. But over the years he has become close to the members and now couldn't live without them. I think back at the beginning the other members could have "feared" him, both in a respectful way & because they didn't want to make him mad. But they are much closer now & you don't see this kind of stuff anymore. The change in him is so heart warming & it makes me happy.🥰💜

I understand where other ARMYs are coming from in the comment section. I know how much we love our boys, how protective we are , and how worried we are of them being misunderstood by non-fans and baby ARMYs but let's give them a little slack. They will eventually know who Yoongi really is just like how we did years ago when we first met them. Let's guide them, suggest songs or videos such as "The last", First love, Dear my friend, In the Soop, and many more.

At the beginning of BTS Suga was having problems with depression. He was also very shy. He has now grown probably manages depression well if he still has it, however, fast-forward to Nov 2021 and Suga is very different. His performances show an artist full of joy and very happy where he is at. He's always been an excellent performer but today you see big smiles on his face even when the music is off. At award shows, he always sat while the members danced at the AMAs 2021 he was up from his seat and dancing and he was really getting down. I never saw that from Suga. Something has changed probably reaching his goals.

Oh no not this video 😭😭😭 I would recommend not watching that channel at all. Its incredibly outdated, and the members are not scared of him like this

I think sometimes people misunderstood yoongi's personality even the members had say that he is a very warm and sweet person, if you pay attention you will see that he has his own language and way of taking care and showing love to his members.

Yoongi isn't scary at all lmao he's just really straightforward, honest and really sweet. It was probably easier to misunderstand him back then but, as the years went by, BTS got more and more comfortable around each other and we got to understand their personalities a lot better. 💜 This video is just funny and if new ARMYs really think Yoongi is mean with one video or two, it's that they were never interested in Yoongi in the first place and never bothered watching other videos about him 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bruh theyre not really scared of him lol. He's the softest out of them all XD. They mostly leave him alone when he's sleeping cuz he needs the sleep tbh. He's super tolerant and there are entire compilation vids of them bothering him for no reason at all and he just lets them.

thank you for reacting to this. although it is a joke and they aren't actually scared of him, it creates very harmful stereotypes in terms of his character and personality. he's sometimes misunderstood by his own fans which disheartens me. he's one of the sweetest, most caring people ever, and he works really hard, hence why he values his sleep so much. usually we dont tend to recommend older videos made because they have such one-dimensional views of the members. thank you for always supporting the real bts. much love!!

Some people keep saying it is not that serious but I think it is. This is a real person that is being portrayed in a way that does not match reality and directly lines up with his fear of being misunderstood. He is someone that has never raised his voice at anyone, how videos like this keep getting recommended I will never know. But I wish ARMYs would stop and think about how things like this affect the boys first.

Watching people explain that Yoongi is a sweet and caring person, but that's really up to the person themselves to decide. Stop caring about misunderstandings that aren't even apperant. If you've been in the fandom long enough and listen to his music you understand what type of person he is. One video that shows footage that was filmed either by the member or staff and turned into a compilation isn't gonna change the type of person he is. Maybe this isn't your sense of humor, then fine it's nobodys' problem. Some people like it and some people don't. People may find this video adorable, some might find it funny, others might find it scary but don't down grade the video when each person sees something differently. And if anything the person that made the video rearly did anything except put the few clips wether they cut it short because of copy right or because they didn't want to make it too long isn't something for you to judge them for. And for new Army's, You aren't babies some of you are grown adults and some are in your adolescence or teens. If you are capable of reading and understanding this or have good insight into what people are talking about, then make up your own decisions about what you think about the boys. In the end it won't really matter since one person's opinion isn't going to change their whole entire life. The boys aren't out here to dress to impress they do music and shows because they want to most of the time. They're just enjoying themselves as musicians/producers/or dancers. Wether people misunderstand them isn't there problem, they're just doing what they want to do and they're not obligated to correct whatever misunderstandings come about. You have hundreds of videos you can look through to find information on Yoongi or the rest of the boys to come up with your own verdict. Wether you do it intentionally or for fun your going to make a judgement about the person subconsciously and that's normal, and it doesn't matter if your ot7 or not just respect the other members. People who say your not an army if you don't like all of them are speaking bull, because not everyone likes every single person in the whole world but has their own amount of respect towards other people that live in the same world they do. And frankly what the people in the comment section care about is not the actual video but whatever reputation they have in their mind that they don't want tarnished of the boys or Yoongi, and to that I say Stop that. As I've said before one video isn't going to ruin their whole lives and people will see the boys differently regardless. Because there are more than 20 million people in this fandom. So there will be 20 million+ different points of views about 7 different people.

Hey! We all know SUGA is actually sweet. :) I think this video was made not to taken so seriously... I think.. I THINK.. because there are people who "love" that character of SUGA. The "Tsundere" type. He looks cold and savage on the outside, but he is actually soft and loving, but he just couldn't express it well.

I always find Jimin and Suga's dynamic really fun! I think they both recognise each others limits really well so they can tease each other quite mercilessly without pushing it too far cause they have kind of found that balance of what's okay and what's not. The whole group definitely has that kind of dynamic of teasing each other as their way of bonding etc. Just awesome all around.

That lie detector vs bts from 07:02 is absolutely hilarious! even if you don't react, you should see the whole thing with eng subs. SOOOOOO MANY GOLD, iconic moments
