I am in a program called Life Skills. It is a 3 year program. I am in my second year in the program, I had never felt the peace that I have now. I was angry and depressed since a was a little kid. Life Skills International, the founder was Paul Hegstrom, he passed away couple years ago but he left such a great inheritance to anyone who wants to be free of worry.

So few 'preachers' have this marvelous ability to present God's message speaking normally.. Most shout & scream even, like an act; a bad habit.. maybe how they were 'taught' in seminary(?) So many ?good men of God who's msg. u might be dying to hear have to be turned off just so u can get ur sanity... Don't they KNOW we can hear them just fine?? No need to shout & genuflec all over the stage.

I had terrible anxiety, I almost died. I prayed and submitted all to the LORD JESUS, ALL TO HIM. CASTING EVERY CARE....then I started to feel better. After a while I was healed. I am so thankful to the LORD JESUS. ( stop all tv. also)

What a beautiful sermon what a good lesson we can leave our anxieties with the heavenly father thank you Jesus

Pray about everything, worry about nothing.

Thank you Max Lucado for this wonderful promise that God is with us in the mess of life, even in our anxieties. Thank You Lord.

I truly believe this was for me, even if it was 2 years later. It’s 3:30 in the morning and this was exactly what God wanted me to hear. It just popped up as my recommendations. Heavenly Father I’m so grateful for your mercy for me! Thank you for this answered prayer!

A message I needed to hear. My anxiety is bringing me to the brink of homelessness, ruin and a breaking point. Sometimes I feel like I can’t go on, everything seems to give me anxiety and I have trouble making a positive change because this anxiety is running my life. Please pray for me.

The more you stare at the problem , the BIGGER it gets.

Been suffering from anxiety/depression and hypochondria for years but with med and faith it has improved now that I’m 50. Still a struggle daily when things that are overwhelming come up but I know my Father will take care of me. Great message! Thank you so much

This message and Max's book have helped me tremendously in a very low time in my life. The lowest.. but we know to 1) rejoice in the Lord, Always and give thanks. Keep your focus on God.. lift up your eyes on Him 2) if He brought you to it He will bring you through it. God will never leave you nor forsake you 3) all things work together for good for those who love the Lord 4) find God's promise in His word that fits your problem and make your prayer to him about it.. put God first not the problem

Lear to wake up each morning and quickly pray "Lord, I don't know what is in store for me today- but You do because You have planned it all- Help me to keep my mind on this fact and trust You through whatever happens, good bad or ugly- in Jesus name Amen" - What Satan means for Evil, God turns to good to those who trust Him- Satan says to God "So and so only obeys you and trusts You because You have blessed them- let Me cause them to suffer such and such, and they will curse You and turn from You" And God say "Do Your best, I know my servant and so and so will withstand what You throw at them and remain faithful"- What a powerful thought- "Everything I need for this day is fully prepared y God because He is in control of My Life"

Anxiety is one of the Adversary's favorite tools to turn us from God. But I am a witness.if we give it to God it will bring us closer to Him.God is always closest when we are troubled.it is our job to reach to Him.

I saw a Max Lucado post in my Fbk a few weeks ago and I wondered who he is. Today after I watched a favourite service I saw Max Lucado up next in the YT line up. WOW! Finding Max Lucado today could not have been better timing and it is always amazing when the right message comes at the right time. There were so many take aways from this and all delivered with such a wonderful calming assurance. Thank you, thank you , thank you. "do not meditate on the mess":)

God leads us to "it" He will get u through "it" I know , when your going thru something it seems HUGE. His Grace will sustain you.

I struggled with anxiety attacks after an initial panic attack. I found That Anxiety Guy Drew Linsalata on KZread who teaches Dr Claire Weeks approach to overcoming anxiety disorder. It’s been 2 1/2 months since I started implementing the principles and have improved leaps and bounds. I prayed for the Lord to heal me and He led me to where I am today. If you have an anxiety disorder, I think these two resources will help! 💗 God bless!

I live here in Watford, United Kingdom.I am worrying about revision for exams for the next 3 months, the future, climate change and prolonged periods of above average temperatures for the time of year. That is because I like colder than average weather for the time of year all year round.

I had all of that at one time and it got to a point where it almost became clinical and almost had to start taking meds for depression and anxiety.But one day I just woke up and said if the only thing I can do is the say the name Jesus then that will be enough for me. It wasn't instant.The enemy constantly whispered to me to just accept that's they way it is,that's how I was born and it will never change.But i had to ask God to teach me how to fight and to literally ask him everyday to help me pick up his armor.i'm free from depression now .Worry attacks me occasionally and that's why I'm here listening to this.Ask him to show you the weapons you need for we do not battle flesh but spiritual principalities.

This message was a word in due season, for me. I was struggling with a situation and had become anxious. I could not sleep, so I intentionally looked for s message on anxiety. I had read the book, be anxious for nothing, and I needed to be reminded. I was truly blessed. I calmed down immediately.

I' m glad I found this. Great recommendation.. ! I love the mention of therapy & that 1 sermon wouldn't be some magic cure. What a thoughtful pastor & realist. 😃👏

thank you Pastor Max, you helped my terrible anxiety today, and you made me feel relieved that it's okay to be a christian and still deal with anxiety, and general mental health issues, I wish I could be miraculously healed, but sometimes we just have to learn how to live with it... thank you for also saying it's okay to use medication, my family and bf are against professional mental health help (they kinda demonize it) and I'm dealing with my mind alone and with God, but tbh... it's not changing one bit... and sometimes feel desperate, cause, no matter how much I pray it doesn't go away.... Also, my father says I'm not being freed of anxiety because I do not pray with him (I do not know why I just can't pray with him) and keeps quoting this "The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." and I told him that God is not a respecter of persons, and that I'm also considered HIS daughter, and righteous because that's is the reason Jesus died on the cross... but he believes he is righteous and special ... and I'm clearly not... so I'm very confused. Thank you! I'm going to pray way more, I'm going to get closer to God, and I'll believe HIS promises! can't wait to read your book (already bought it in spanish) ... thank you so much

Great sermon.we often forget we face a situation we need to instantly give it over to God don't allow anxious or have anxiety effect are lives remember we are Gods children..we need to praise him always.i battled with anxiety when comes i raise my hands praise God its gone God is awesome God he loves us he will never leave us

Good for Max to correctly translate the perpetualness, dominated by anxiety that's being referred to, not now and then temporary anxiety. Charles Stanley made the same distinction. Important so people don't beat themselves up for now and then anxiety :)
