Wrapped laces, tape on the ankles, rolled sleeves while on ice, loose skates. Folks, you know that one dusty bender on your team? That's this guy, only this guy is an absolute animal. Thanks for the informational video!
I love the sound of the skates, and the ice screaming! This guy is amazing!!!
Goddamn, this guy is a beast. Love how he's giving the kids a proper session. There might only be one kid in that group who tries to become a player but I'm sure it would've made an impression on them.
Not sure whats crazier his skill or the fact that the kids pick it up so easily.

It shows that if children that young can learn drills that complex, anyone can.

Treat a kid like you have confidence in them and tell them they can do it too. You would be surprised what kids can accomplish or learn with a little confidence and encouragement.

I'd imagine it's easier for a 9 yearold than me at 38
I did a camp with him and another Crosby trainer. He's insane btw
Hello Jeremy, thanks for inviting Max! He's one of the best skating coaches, well known in Russia! Max is awesome ;-)
Love the chill music while watching this all-around high-quality content, and I'm not just saying that because the price is right! Seriously good shit, for years, always improving. Much appreciation, Jeremy, thanks!
Those edges... holy.

I wish I could afford a skating coach for like 3 years at this level. Guys balance is unreal
inside edge, turn 360, then outside edge one leg, then back flip, then 180, then forward flip. Got it? ok 6 year olds let's do it!

They don't have to do it right away, you instill the right thought into them so all their future training will be worthwhile.

Guy was SICK! what a great skater. Cheers.
That's the best thing I've seen from this channel yet! Keep it up
That was amazing. Great to see the kids learning the great game of hockey, too cute. Also great for us older hockey players. Never too old to learn.
Lovely to watch the technique on this guy. I find it amazing that these kids are actually managing to somehow keep up! These drills would be hard for any level.
Happy Thanksgiving Canada! What are you thankful for? For more about Maxim visit the link in the video description

Great video - thanks for this series, I'm really enjoying it!
I just want to be this good on the ice. his skating looks so flawless and lethal
Coach Jeremy, Hey there. Just getting into youth hockey coaching and have been watching many of your videos. Dude, your doing such a great job sharing great content to hockey enthusiasts! As well as the way you put it all together. You're definitely making a name for yourself in history with sharing your knowledge of hockey and all things hockey to know. Nicely done fella! Keep up the success!
Superb video, Coach Jeremy! Ivanov is brilliant all around, as others noted, but especially in his teaching by demonstration. We're putting this edge stuff to work in Madison, Wisconsin now. Thanks, keep it up!
Coach Jeremy: Did u get it? Kid: No. 😂😂😂
Hell yeah ! Let's Go Pens ! Cool vid thanks Jeremy !
Insane skills. Thanks for the upload. I'll try to practice tomorrow! Forgot to say - sick soundtrack and flow!
these drills are nuts
Amazing. The transitions are sick. Lighting speed.
This is great stuff.I wish this was available to us when I was a kid during the Orr era.
I played ice hockey growing up . Good luck trying to catch him on skates
amazing skill. different kind coaching .
That’s some great drills. My little boy loves it all
i used to do skill sessions with him all the time when i was younger.. wish i appreciated him more at the time.. id do anything to go to another one of his practices
He is dancing on this ice. I love to see the moves.
That's awesome, that was my local arena growing up! Keep up the great videos!
Some of this is cray, it's like stunt skating!
My son is working with him this week in Halifax. it's awesome.
Love these instructor videos
This is a great example of how to not underestimate a young skater and their abilities. These drills are awesome.
This is one of my favourite videos. It would be rad if you were able to make a skating video series with him, sort of like Mike Bracko's DVD, except with digital release as well.

Amazing skating and the kids are great too
Awesome stuff! I just checked your web site and realized we could have made your March camp in St Pete :( Hopefully next time!
So this video just made me subscribe to your channel & thumb up & add to my saved videos & download for offline. These drills are insane. Hope I could only be half as good as this guy.
GOT IT! Really simple and effective!!
I'm getting blisters just watching
Great videos!!
These instructor videos are great. And Max's skating is ridiculous.
Ty sooo muchhhhh for that sare sooo inspiring me! :) Joel cotnoir Montréal Canada
Those are some good drills.
WOW. This guy is unreal... No kidding he trains the best.
those little kids are so good!! omg..
ok I need this video when I skate in public skating
Great young skaters!
crazy stuff
awesome
Dude is a beast of a skater
Toe-Toe Heel_Heel YA?? Great content, very agile coach, I will include those exercices in my routine.
Oh man i'd love a day with that guy! ^^
Mind..... BLOWN!!!!!
Max cool coach!
Does this work for inline skates in terms of edging "Toe heel toe heel"?
This is why hockey players look like they're just as comfortable on skates doing all that stuff as the average person looks while just walking. I am more mesmerized from hockey skating than I am figure skating. This video showed me why!

@user-ch4qx2kv1b
@user-bb4vj5yq7v

Max Learned it all himself? That’s very cool
Anyone know what hollow he uses for sharpening?
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. It's like Michael Jackson on skates.
How do we get him to come to Newmarket ontario ?? Love my nephew to take his camp.
I’m about to do power skating I hope it helps
For a second, I thought I was watching a dancing video. Great job!
I learned edges from the head coach of calgary but man this is insane
5:10 is there any specific name for this drill?
Max krutoi. Udachi Max v NHL!
My Favorite Team is the Penguins
Too good skating
What pads his he wearing they look sweet?
I've played there before
This guy has to be trolling people with the laces wrapped around the ankles. Either way, awesome stuff.
@user-zd5ny4eu9c
With loosely tied skates, it is often a challenge to find laces that won't be too long to avoid the "ankle wrap" and be able to adequately tighten the lower portion of the skate... The best skaters have always allowed for the flexibility that loose skates offer (Bobby Orr was one)...
@Infiniti25
T K I wrapped my laces round my ankles on my roller blades for years. Only when I went to buy ice skates was I told by the shop assistant that I shouldn't. I think it's only to prevent ruining the skates finish, I don't think it's bad to do it. I always like my skates tight up the first 6 or so eyelets and I have a locking eyelet where the ankle bends so technically I could have the laces looser around the ankle but I've never had loose skates so it's alien to me. I do think looser skates improve the ability to bend the knee greatly, will have to get around to trial long having the top portion of my skates loose. Oh and I really recommend waxed laces if you struggle to get a nice tight skate or don't have locking eyelets to help keep the lace from slackening as you work your way up.
What cut is he using
I trained with him a few times and i only went with what he was showing because i couldnt hear him. He was so quiet. I only struggled on one thing though.
hey Jeremy,Are you planning to go to other countries like where I am?I know you said that you are going on the summer camp thing? is that it? PLEASE ANSWER

lol at the end "you get it? ...no"
I wish I could be as good as that
Having flashbacks to my soccer coach who used to say, "hop, hop, hop, hop" all the time during each repetition. My coach was from Germany so I'm assuming its a European thing. Totally made me crack up though knowing its just not soccer coaches who use this.
I hope I can skate like this
