The problem with LUTs and D-Log I think is you have to create LUTs based upon the increased saturation flaw of shooting in D-Log w/ cheaper cameras. The expensive cameras, of course, make shooting in Log with a good LUT better. 2:30 should be a clear winner of Color Profile: None being better.

Hi can you please tell me how to setup FOCUS when I shoot in Dlog? Manually set? which posiotion? or just auto?... I have on my dron problem that in Dlog is not perfect focus.. thanks

Hi do the setting you talk about apply towards the mavic 2 zoom as well? Does electra work with post editing filmed by a mavic 2 zoom? And how were you able to film In Yosemite considering it a national park? Awesome video!

Hi Michael, The Mavic 2 Zoom actually does not have a LOG profile, though it does have D-Cinelike which is great for color grading. However, we do not suggest using the Mavic 2 Pro Elektra LUTs for the D-Cinelike profile as it is not optimized for it. We didn't shoot any of the drone footage seen here in the national park itself, just the surrounding area. Thank you for watching and being part of the PolarPro community!

We decided to shoot with the Production Version to give it a fair comparison, I think the pre-production version we had was buggy and did not represent it fairly. We will do another video on it when we launch our products for it :)

Hey Michal, The a7iii has a new picture profile called HLG (hybrid log gamme) thats not as flat as S-log but S-log 3 is a little bit flatter than d-log. What is the best editing software to use on an iPad

well where do you copy the lut? in technical folder or creative? In the PDF it says Technical in video it says Creative, not sure now this PURITY LUT is it technical folder or creative folder?

Curious how you flew the drone in a National Park? I guess not how, but since it’s illegal, did you get permission? Hoping to fly in the NPS one day myself.

Hello, we understand your concerns and would never advise to fly in a National park. All our drone footage was shot outside of the park boundaries in a legal fly-zone in and around the high sierras. Thanks for watching :)

Hey, there! According to the Mavic 2 manual: In normal mode, H.264 and H.265 code formats are supported. In D-Log or HLG mode, only H.265 is supported. Please let us know if we can answer and further questions about this (:

Hi, We would not advise using the Mavic Air Elektra LUTs for the Mavic 2 Zoom as they are not specifically designed for that camera sensor. However, we appreciate the suggestion of having LUTs for the Mavic 2 Zoom, we will send it to our engineering team for consideration!

@@PolarProFilters 2 minutes 30 seconds of your video. Dark scene. Very nice shot, by the way) Dark areas are absolutely black without digital noise. How did you achieve this? what plugin did you use? I also have mavic 2 and I tried to shoot at night and digital noise spoils everything

Your content is solid and informative... that intro belongs to 14 year olds and the 'Tide Challenge', not a company selling professional filters for serious gear. Just my thoughts...
