Insane, i have the maverick quantum flux R race truck in gunmetal grey with every alloy machined aluminum option parts, mod pinion gear, mod1 hs spur gear. Diffs - 10k rear, 20k middle, 50k front. Rebuilt all shocks with new o rings with alpha 400 cps 100% pure silicone oil all round. Added a dynamite heatsink and cooling fan wich works great. I run Louise gt tarmac rims and tyres aswell as Louise gt shivs and they fit perfect and are true belted tyres with belted sidewalls. 25t double clamped servo horn. I love this platform for several reasons. A - Price. B - Nice alloy option parts. C - Easy tear down. D - standard parts and accessories are always available. E - power to weight ratio. F - it is fast and now that i have done all of the diffs it drifts like a true drift rc car. I have only ran it on 4s as i am not sure if the diffs will handle 6s, aswell as the standard 120a esc - will the 120a esc handle a 6s Lipo 6500mah 80c? I wouldn’t test it as around 150a is the standard for 6s

Spudski im trying to beat your 101mph in the maverick quantum r and so far I’ve achieved 60mph at around half throttle on 6s and was wondering how you achieved that record in the first place

There’s a few people after the record ha. It’s got more in it but got too many other projects. 6s was 88mph and 101 8s. Stock motor.

@@spudskirc4458 how can the stock motor take 8s I’ve got a slightly higher kv one being a 2500kv 3674 motor and that hates even being on 6s so I can’t imagine it’s being on 8s But when the roads are a little dryer in the uk I should be able to do full throttle hopefully breaking your record as I’ve got a bit of room in the gears to increase and decrease the gear ratio

@@tecknodexter6840 it’s a risk you take, I only did 1 run on 8s with stock motor and seemed to cope with it, not sure how many it would do but it had more in it.
