This was such a great video. I could relate. I took care of my mom and dad… They both had dementia. After they died, I’m trying to find my purpose in life. It might be helping with my brother-in-law, who was just diagnosed with ALS. So much heartache in this world but the right make up and hairstyle can be uplifting! I would love to see an evening look on Linda. The jewelry website is wonderful! I love the necklace on the model. I don’t think I would have any trouble picking anything out as I love them all. I hope you’ll do another video like this sometime

I feel you. I turned 60 last year and all I have left is my mother. I have lost my sister who was my best friend, a few months later my husband left me and most recently my dad. I have not recovered from this loss. The worst thing is that I don’t look at myself in the mirror because It’s not me anymore. I didn’t have kids so it’s not been easy for me to cope with loneliness although I have my mom alive. I am trying to be a bit like I was before but I don’t know how. I don’t know where to start. I’m sorry. 😞 ❤

I absolutely love your compassion. And thank you for not letting us over 50 feel we aren’t worthy of makeup or attention. For some reason women over 50 are only put in brown matte eyeshadows. I’m probably the only one but I would love to see something colorful and vibrant. For some self-love would definitely be the spirit necklace. So stunning.

Yeah , it seems like most mature women wear brownish mattes but I love it when they add a pop of color. It brightens up the face and gives their eyes a nice youthful cheery sparkle when done right.

Linda is a beautiful woman. You're right Gabi, after my son was murdered I didn't really care about anything until one day I picked up my phone and got on youtube and saw you Gabi. I've watched you ever since. You've been a huge inspiration in helping us women of a certain age feel confident and good about ourselves. I know my son would want me to continue living. You brought tears to my eyes when you were saying, "we matter." I just went to the link and the first thing that caught my eye is the "circle of life" necklace, but its all gorgeous. Of couse it would be for myself. I'm trying to learn "self love ". Edit: When she said menopause, "oh boy, can I relate" It's hard. I feel for her. I’ve lost “9” immediate relatives within the past 6yrs. Both my sister ( in our kitchen )& my mom exactly 4 weeks apart 11/27 & 12/27. Both deaths were completely unexpected. I lost my infant brother at the age of 8 ( 3 weeks after my birthday ). I even as a child remember it all very much. Death is traumatic & affects you in so MANY ways. As an adult now I realize just how much. My faith in God has kept me standing. I pray for you to have a lot more beautiful life experiences & find peace. I appreciate this video very much. 🙏💖🙏🤗♾️

I am 67 and had not worn makeup more than maybe 3-4 times in the past 15 years. I just threw away allllll that old stuff and have been YT binging and trying out new makeup. Gabi's videos dedicated to us "mature" women are so appreciated, I actually like how I look after putting her advice into action. Thank you Gabi!!!

So needed this...im 56 and since my 50 birthday ive been dealing with profound loss of both my brother & my partner of 30+ years as well as two much loved young cousins. I buy all the stuff & look after my skin but Ive lost my ability to use makeup to look glamorous . I feel like ive become a shadow of myself. I am looking forward to watching how you change up this ladys look & taking some tips.

The jewelry is gorgeous. I am 71 and recently started taking ballet classes after a 25 or30 year hiatus. I think diamond stud earrings would be a perfect look for a bun head! I would love to see an every day makeup look on Linda. It is a look we can probably all benefit from in our daily lives. Definitely a smoky eye on Linda as she has beautiful eyes. As far as the GIVEAWAY, I have a step daughter and daughter-in-law that will be turning 30 in April and June. This would be a great way to wish them a beautiful 30th! I think they would love the diamond hoops as they can be worn everyday whether go out for dinner or with a pair of jeans. Definitely keep doing these mature takeovers as they give us all great ways to make us look and feel beautiful!

My oldest son died three months ago and the grief can be crushing some days. Self-care ... doing my nails, going for a massage, sweating in a sauna . . . has all provided me a bit of comfort. Love this new series. Would love to see Linda in a smoky eye. I can no longer wear much eye makeup at 71 mainly due to my extremely dry eyes...I loved doing my eye makeup. I’m 52 and having the same extreme dry eyes. It really sucks. My eyes have become so sensitive it’s sometimes hard to put anything on my eyes at all.

I just discovered your channel and love your helpful tips. As a 60+ woman, it can be discouraging to see the videos using young models who have yet to experience some of the harshness of aging. I know that many appreciate having a model in our demographic, who is relatable on so many levels. Thank you for that. I would love to see an eye look on Linda using the green liner in something a little dramatic and lovely. The jewelry is all so beautiful, but as a farm wife who takes care of cattle, I lose earrings easily, and don't have pretty hands to show off the stunning rings. Fantastic series, Gabi! I’m 58 and after raising a wonderful special needs child the past 19 years, I’ve just now started taking some time for myself to learn about skincare and makeup. I have very dry skin with years of sun damage, worry lines, smile lines (let’s just say “all the lines” 🤣)…and I’m encouraged by you! Love this series and thank you for addressing some of the over 60/70’s viewer and their concerns. I think your model Linda would look great with smoky eye but an everyday look would be good as well. As a 73 yo women it really is challenging to try to make your makeup look polished without wearing to much or too little. I came to KZread to get some tips and techniques to improve my aging skin. I have learned so much about skincare and it has made a difference. However, it’s the makeup application and products that have been an ongoing struggle. I appreciate your work. I am also not that familiar with lab grown diamond jewelry but all of the pieces look gorgeous. I tend to like the necklaces.

For Linda's makeover I would like to see an everyday makeover that saves her time as she stated that simplicity is important to he, such as with her hair style. I am 65 and at my age it is nice to be able to efficiently go from one activity to the another with an easy refresh. Gabi, this will be a fantastic series. Linda is lovely and I can relate as I'm 56 and a single mum too. Linda seems to love colour so I think I'd like to see her in her comfort zone and maybe incorporate some colour including the green liner. Like so many women who have commented already, I feel adrift in my life. I'm 61 with 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren. I gave my life, willingly and lovingly, to raise them. Then I became my dad's primary caregiver until the end of his life, and it was my honor to do so. Now, there is nobody who needs me. I feel old and unattractive and unseen. I know God has a purpose for the rest of my life, but this is a lonely time. Your videos are a bright spot in my day. This series is especially meaningful to me and so many others! I think it's brilliant you speak to those of us over 50 over 60. Most influencers only concentrate on the younger generation, which is wonderful, but mature women are the afterthought. Also when I have seen other "mature" women makeup tutorials it's always brown and matte and dull. I live in an Over 55 community and I see lovely women who have given up on wearing makeup because it's not necessary for this demographic. Maybe a little lipstick but not much more. I still refuse to give up foundation (still looking for the right one for me) and eyeshadow and lashes and everything-even when I am just going to the market or catching a quick lunch at our club with my husband, or running to Target. I refuse to leave home looking not put together. So I think your videos show mature women that they don't necessarily have to "wear lashes" but you can do something quick and easy to lift you up!!! For the look, I’d love to see a smoldering daytime look. That transition color with that darker chocolate on the outer V and blended into the crease. With a hint of maybe the warm pink glitter that is next to the darkest brown, right in the center and the lighter angel dust type shade next to that on the inner corner. As for my choice, so difficult. The jewelry is so so gorgeous, I was drawn to the Limitless Diamond Ring because it looks classic and classy, not overly in your face which is good for everyday or out to dinner type wear. This would be a gift of self love to myself as my 16 year old passed tragically 11/2023 and I really would love to have this in memory of him. Thank you for the opportunity and the video is awesome. Love this new series! It’s so refreshing to see videos geared for mature women and not just the younger generation for which most makeup is flattering because of their young, smooth skin. It’s great that there are women like you to help navigate the challenges that come with mature changes. Love your videos! Would love to see a simple daytime look for Linda as she mentioned that she is looking for something quick and minimal and would be something that we can all relate to more. My favorite pieces of jewelry are the Diamond Half Eternity Band 1.00 ct and the Diamond Pear Shaped Pendant. A self-love gift for sure, but with a $1000 I could easily buy something for me and still have enough left over to share the love 💕.

I am so happy someone is seeing us older women as important and worthy of being beautiful and caring for ourselves. We spend most of our lives caring for others, and it seems selfish to put ourselves first. I am almost 59, and when I am out in a store and young ladies or males are around, they tend to treat me like I’m not there. This video series is going to be so amazing!!!! I think we can all identify with the life changes going on - sometimes it feels like you have been beaten down and just can't make yourself get out of bed. But, you get up anyway, put a smile on your face and do what needs to be done to take care of those you love. I am grateful that I can help and that I am strong enough to do what has to be done. Given my druthers I wouldn't have ever chosen the things going right now, but when life hands you lemons...... you still get out of bed and pull those big girl panties all the way up, and hit the ground running. I would love to see a daytime look - something simple, classy that can look good going to the grocery store or meeting friends for a nice lunch. I love everything on the Ana Lucia website but I would probably go for something like the eternity bands, one of the less expensive ones so I could get three of them. One for my daughter, one for my daughter-in-law and one for me.

I have a couple of suggestions. How about telling us which end to use for what on those little applicator sponges that come with eyeshadow sets? Also, you could do a zoom call with someone to see how they apply their makeup and what you would do different, having them do it the way you say. So they apply their way on half face, you instruct how to do it differently, what colors, how to hold the brush, whatever is not correct for them. ?? just a thought.

Hey Gabi, what you are doing is so amazing. I wanted to share this about my mother bc if anyone deserves it it's her, of course we all do right but my mother is a very humble woman. She hasn't ever had much and has always been OK with that but she is now 70 , her husband of 30 years passed last year and I moved her up here w me to my house , she was literally grieving so bad we just basically left with what we could pack in her car . She left everything and is starting over again. She has been so down for so long and it breaks my heart bc I don't want anything happening to her she is my best friend . I don't know how to make her feel better and last week her sister passed and that was the icing on the cake for her. She has been stuck in her bedroom. Please even advice would help but my mom would never expect something like this to happen to her it would blow her mind. Please help her❤ I love you

What a great idea for a new series. So helpful and fun. I am 62 and live in Alberta, Canada. I was so thrilled to find a Canadian content creator with such quality video's. I would love to see Linda in a smoky brown eye. I would choose either the Infinity or Eternity ring because I lost my beautiful wedding rings a few year's ago.

I would love to see a five minute makeup look on Linda. Something that looks polished but not too made up. My favorite piece is the spirit diamond ring with two rings. That is very unique and beautiful. I would keep that piece and the rest I would shop to bless some other women in my life that could use a boost! I would love to see a natural daytime look that can quickly move to an evening look if Linda goes out. If I won the giveaway, I would most likely choose the lucky stars necklace and get four of them, one for me, my daughter, my daughter-in-law and my youngest son's girlfriend. I love this as a series! I just turned 63 and am having issues with sensitive eyes and skin, feeling like it looks like I'm trying too hard when I use more than blush and eyebrow pencil. Finding the right colors as everything changes has also been challenging.

Would love to see a daily little bit of a Smokey eye!!! More of a nudie/brown lip! Love the look of layered jewelry and earrings to wear with different outfits. I don’t have any unfortunately…there seems to always be something else that is needed with my kids/grandkids instead of purchasing jewelry that goes with outfits. What a fun video! I too am 61 with 4 children & 8 grandchildren. I think it is very common for women our age to ask the same questions about ourselves at this age. What is my life purpose? Who am I now? We are empowered by our experiences & still have lots to offer. We want to make a difference!! We are noticing all the changes in our skin and bodies. We want to embrace our look as we age and look great while we are doing it!!! I would love to see a makeover using all those pretty eyeshadows with maybe a pop of color? She is gorgeous already and can’t wait to see what a few tweaks to her routine will do!! Limitless diamond necklace shaped like a figure 8. My mother-in-law had this problem. She fell in love with pale frosty pink lipstick and heave black liquid liner in the 1980s, and was still wearing it decades later. It literally made her look corpse-like and even a little scary. She had a beautiful medium olive complexion, but all the color in her skin just drained away as soon as she did her makeup. It took over five years to finally convince her to change her lip color and tone down the eyeliner. I had to buy her new makeup and paint up her face for her to convince her, but it was all the compliments she got from her lady friends on that day that finally got through to her. We are all creatures of habit... except me. I'm a makup junkie. I never tire of trying new things, LOL!

Yea!!! This happens all the time. I’ve even been guilty of it! I used to LOVE a super bold winged liquid liner and now it just looks so harsh on me. It’s hard to see it when you’re used to it and your KZread. Thanks for sharing that story.

In addition to the Smokey eye on Linda I mentioned in an earlier post, I would select the Diamond Half Eternity Band 1 ct. for myself. The reasons for treating myself are raised 3 boys, caretaking both parents who live 3 states away, helping my husband with his business and his recent hospitalization, trying to start my own business, helping a close friend through her surgeries…and worn out! Also, been married almost 36 years and no beautiful jewelry like this since my wedding ring. Appreciate this opportunity! Thank you!
