It’s such a beautiful thing to see someone using their makeup skills to uplift women, not just young women, but mature women who deserve our respect and support. Well done you. 10/10.

Agree! I’m 48 and my friend who recently turned 50 said she now has to cut her hair short… I don’t know why people feel they HAVE to, if they want to great, but my friend doesn’t seem happy about it :( I’m planning on keeping mine long, I prefer it that way on me… though I do want to get cherry red ombre (my hair is brown and i want to do fun colors as long as I can 😹).

Not quite in your club yet, but 56 here, and my hair is past my bum. Also a bit thin and flyaway like Koko's so it's great for me to see a vid where the hair isn't thick and lush to start with, because I always watch and think nothing they show will work for me because my hair isn't like that to start with. But I have lovely silver streaks from my temples now, and I just hope it goes as white as Koko's. She is stunning, and I will be long hair for ever - been telling people for years that it's easier than short hair!

I would love to see the full makeup makeover video. You are a great makeup/makeover artist, and for women of a certain age, you are life changing. Thank you for making an unheard age feel good about themselves.

Her hair is so beautiful and I'm so glad it wasn't cut short . She's rocking it.

Her natural hair is beautiful, and when she described what she wants, she already has it - non-managed, just twirl it up, clip it, and done - and it looks gorgeous. Now to watch and see what is done to her hair. Edit: Ah, it was a relief to see that her long hair was retained, and the curl/wave from her face looks divine. Her makeup lovely, subtle and bright. Really impressed with the hair cutting and the consideration that went into the final cut.

I agree!! @glamgirlgabi I found this so wonderful! First, Koko is a beautiful soul and interesting canvas. I love the concept of this video. As a fifty something woman who is lost experiencing hair loss, it made me happy to see this transformation. Something happened at 50 or menopause, where all these things changed and I don’t recognize myself anymore. It’s like I’m 13 and fumbling with makeup and don’t know how to make hair or make up look like “me” anymore. I went all grey which was a challenge, but trying to be ok with everything aging. But now experiencing hair loss, …it’s just hard. Thank you again for your positive attitude, making mature women a focus and always bringing your truthfulness of your experience. 💜🙏🏼

Oh to have long THICK hair like that, you did an AWESOME job. To have hair long enough that you can put it up and get it off your face when you want to is GREAT. My hair is the longest its been for years, it's thin and straight and fine. So I need a curling iron for volume and some curls and have finally managed to get a manageable cut.

I love this video soooo much ❤❤❤ She is so beautiful. It's weird that many hairdressers say that short is "easy" when actually IT'S NOT. You are so right! But if hairdressers make their lady customers think that mature ladies should not have long hair but a short and dyed hair, these women must run to a salon once a month. And im so bored to see middleaged women who have these short haircuts with harsh lines and harsh chemical colors that destroy your hair so that there's another excuse to cut it short.

I love the way you respect who she is. She truly was gorgeous to begin with and what you did with the cut, styling and makeup really seems to suit her. Simply stunning! Would love to see the makeup portion.

I think you'll love this cut. It's the best of both worlds. You can still easily tie it up but it looks beautiful down and doesn't need a lot of styling to look amazing!

I like it when the hairdresser gets technical in these tutes. It is fascinating, and demonstrates that there is so much thought and planning. Wish my last cut was done with this much thought.

Such a wonderful makeover channel. Emphasizing her natural beauty in such a subtle way. Not changing someone's look, just bringing out their best features of the beauty they already hold.
