Matty vs. the Filipino Feast

Ойын-сауық

Matty heads to the Filipino neighborhoods of Winnipeg and is hosted by Ron and his father "Hot Rod" Cantiveros, who teaches him how to make Longganisa sausages. Matty samples a variety of Filiipino street foods and pastries, then cooks at a traditional Boodle Fight.

its so a like with Indonesian, we also used the biggest banana leave as the "food mat" ant just dine in shoulders to shoulders and eat with our hand, then we just throw the food lightly to the people around us giving and giving asking if the others have enough. that taught us everything is bountiful, never worry, always ask if some body already have and give others first before doing for ourselves, that culture of trust always makes a great response "don't worry, I got your back!"

wander around the province during a fiesta, ask for water in any house celebrating the fiesta as previously instructed and they'll likely ask you to eat what little food they proudly prepared. In the predominantly Catholic Philippines every province, city, municipality down to the baranggay has their own patron saint that they assign a day each year where they celebrate their feast day. You must however learn to eat small portions even if the food is heavenly bec. when the other neighbors sees you finished eating, you will be summoned in another banquet and by the 4th house this is usually the point where most guest contemplate their life choices. You may also sing in the Videoke at the corner to digest the lumpia first before heading to the next house.
