When the lineman already raised his flag up then there is no sense to look at the VAR. If the lineman doesn't make any call then the players can ask him to look at the VAR Already the referee has blowed the whistle. After that no matter they had scored the goal or not

So if he did raise the flag, that was when the ball was still in the air, halfway to Mazroui. No one had touched the ball, hence, no offside. When Mazroui touched the ball, linesman's flag had been down for at least one second. I honestly didn't even see the linesman raising the flag, he was out of the camera view and when he showed up, the flag was down. This mistake is all on the main ref, daylight robbery, there was no reason for him to blow the whistle.

Offside or not, Refrees and lines men are always instructed to not make a decision unless it's obvious. They are told to let the game continue and then make their decision when the ball is out of play, so that even VAR can check it. To see the lines man raise his flag on such a close call and the refree blow his whistle as soon as he saw the flag is absolutely ridiculous. Bayern were surely robbed

Not sure why this is being prolonged so much when the player was actually offside, also there was another passage of play after the initial pass and the ref blew when Madrid stopped playing so who knows for sure if the ref didn't blow they would have still scored.

Because play was allowed to continue with Madrid but for Bayern Munich the whistle was blown indicating a stoppage in play. You can't continue to play after the whistle is blown. Yes the referee should have allowed play to continue and check whether it's offside or not later with VAR. It's a referee error, Real Madrid got nothing to do with that.
