As an 84 year old ex keyboard player who grew up and performed in the halcyon days of jazz and contemporary music....I am so happy to see cats like Matthew and Joey DeFrancesco picking up the torch from Jimmy Smith and carrying it forward!!! That’s what it’s all about isn’t it? Somebody moving the goal post up from Miles...another person doing the same thing with Oscar Peterson or Keith Jarrett.....somebody else taking Trane’s stuff one step further....it’s called the evolution of the art form.....and long may it continue!!!!
It's really great to watch the jaded old jazz-cats crack a smile when he does something amazing. They recognize the presence of greatness.
Yo! He's the real deal on the Hammond! I've seen live my entire young life: Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, Charlie Earland , Bill Doggett and too many others! He's well on the way to being this elite pure class!!!
So Amazingly Real. When God Almighty takes away one faculty one prime function one is blessed with incomparably unique skills and provides all possible to hone it. Stay Blessed.
I would give him a million. Views if I could push button that many times MATTHEW YOUR ARE A GREAT AND WONDERFUL TALENT THAT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS WORLD. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
I'm sighted and too lazy to practice everyday. I admire Matthew to the utmost!
Damn shame this doesn't have more views, superb talent from everyone.

I know they betta play!!! They are great!!! Praise God for music. Bless that young Matthew Whitaker. He is blessed by the best...the Lord!! Anytime you have an impairment and can play like that at that age, it is a miracle, and God gets the credit! ~~Jesus is Lord of Lords, accept Him as Savior~~

True talent, with sensational relevance.
Pure talent… ☮🔥
Mathew is gifted, but like he said, "there is only one Stevie Wonder, and there will never be another in our lifetime. This kid will do so much for music .. 40 years later "Songs in the key of life" is still rocking the world it was the first song Matt played.. can Matt sing? I was waiting to hear that part of the comparison of the two.. Stevie's voice was unmistakable as well as his musicianship.. I love this kid because think of all the kids some say "well his quality of life will be far less than desirable , so abort the baby" or it's not really a baby till three months, he weighed less than a pound.. my point "ALL LIFE IS PRECIOUS IN GOD'S SIGHT" keep the baby, throw out the trash..
simply #phenomenal! this will make you smile and feel good. gets to the essence of "mellow mood". #extraordinary #mustsee
A genius at work man😍😍
This is great 👍🏽
Old souls
Thank you All 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Super!!!
ohhhhhhhh toy muy volao buenisima
Wonderful, as good as JS at his very best.
Wow
DON'T CLAP STUPID PEOPLE, JUST LISTEN AND LET THEM PLAY. People always feel they have to do something when greatness is happening, and they don't have a clue what to do because they have never encountered it; just sit and let it teach you and speak to you and clap AFTER a solo perhaps.
Lord Quas!

Thats before Joey. It's simply an organ technique.
The Almighty Creator who created us and taught us how to talk and walk and the same way He taught us art, science, discoveries and entrepreneurship. He measures our provisions and life span in order to see if we are appreciative or not. He is the one who taught Aristotle, Archimedes, Galileo, Leonardo da Vinci, Einstein, Edison, Beethoven, Richard Branson, Bach, Mozart, Beatles, and Mathew Whitaker. Yet, our Godless nation get confused. "The Almighty created man from ejected semen then he turns into a most ardent enemy".
