I love to sew and embroider, my art form is to create with needle and. thead. I really admire folks who can quilt like this!! Even the simple form of quilting is a daunting challenge. These beautiful story or narrative quilts are truly works of art, like jeweled tapestries..Bravo.❤❤

Mad respect for Brother Workman and his body of work at Blue Note. However, Paul Chambers, and Bob Cranshaw had a huge bass line footprint in the music of the Golden Age of Blue Note.

I love Ed. I love his stories how his mother who was very young when she had him, gave him to her grandmother (I think, I'll watch it again. Everything about him, his land his weaving, his love for nature makes me nostalgic for times when we went in the so called bush and gathered, wild asparagus, berries, fruit that I have never seen anywhere in all the countries we lived in. How much we appreciated a wooden spoon, a chair, logs for the fire, a match, a bambus rod for fishing, everything was meaningful, magical, purposeful. Thank you.

Great job Ed, this is a lovely story and baskets, you are truly blessed. Not all of us were so lucky and given back our trust land after our ancestors lost the wars and battles and were conquered. Very kind of the US citizens and US tax payers to allow this trust land, water, and forest to be extended to you Would love to whittle wood with you

I love how she looks off into the distance when she is searching her memories - I can only imagine the wheels turning in her mind, scanning the vast and glorious memories of her remarkable lifetime. That really touches me. I thought she was so classy and glamorous simultaneously.

I took Tap dance from Reggio a about 6 years ago. I was 65 years old. And, I was the worse Tap Dancer in the Class, but, Tehhio was always so patient and kind kind! He made every class so fun every week! I'm looking foward to getting in to the Concert Hall at Old Town School of Music today! Although, just found out the Tickets are sold out! I just saw the Info a few seconds ago. Hopefully, there will be a seat for me to get in to see the Tap Event!

Vulgar, trite, conventional. Nothing worse than identity politics in chopped-up prose trying to pass itself off as poetry.

The hands are a definite distraction, and such a shame, because the recitation is not bad... Excellent selection.

Miss Hansen has had the literary acumen to select a Brontë poem which is not well known, thus adding to her audience's knowledge-always a wonderful thing to do. She has also quite evidently worked through situating the poem historically and philosophically. This is my favorite recitation of the set, because it reveals both the genius of Emily Brontë as well as Miss Hansen's special insight which, through her recitation, becomes our own insight.

Some talent there, but wasted on a poor selection. I would like to hear some Shakespeare sonnets, or even John Donne, in Miss Norman's voice.

Yes, never a good idea to go conversational with classic poetry, especially in the sonnet form. The sonnet is really quite musical, but all its wonderful qualities fly out the window here.

Miss Carey is at the very least attempting to measure out the phrases, and this allows her to add her own phraseological variations to effect. I would like to see her get a little more help in this, because she is really on the right track.

Too much variation in the cadence, and other problems (primarily in the breath), but let's just be happy that someone has had the good taste to recite Dover Beach. Don't let emotions replace the text. Yes, grand to identify the long syllables and understand how the poet uses them, but not so grand to exaggerate them quite so much.

  • @MacKenziePoet

By the way, this is a good example of how to announce a poem's title: deliberate, purposeful, confident.

  • @MacKenziePoet

Don't let your hands hijack your recitation. Put that movement into your vocal unraveling of the poetic phrases instead. You get the prize for superb literary taste in your poem selection.

  • @MacKenziePoet
    @MacKenziePoetАй бұрын

Of course, you can't go wrong with Emma Lazarus's famous sonnet. And I dare say Miss Odom wins the prize for elevating her recitation to the level of poetic diction, without falling into the trap of sounding incantatory. She also embraced fully the spirit of the poem with both mind and body. Well done.

My heart feels nothing nida whisperer song. Until I found you. Like a merry-go-round my feeling on display for you. You're so far away what's that a whisper in the trees. Like its branches I've bent over to please you to steal every moment I can. As your feelings sway in the balance like a monkey and a tree I gather all my kisses for the. But I'm scared to play in the treehouse four read section may be there. Or maybe I'm scared, sell my feelings hang in the air. I cannot make up my mind. Play changing in a dress 1000 *. Saying I love you is easy. But feeling it is 10 times harder. Until then will sit in the sandbox like little kids and build imaginary tracks delete you to me and me to you. But see some highways go on forever do I set on the side of the road and wait for the weather.
