Matthew Goode ('Freud's Last Session') on 'duking it out in a very professorial way' with Sir Anthony Hopkins 'like gentlemen.' He stars as acclaimed author C.S. Lewis alongside Hopkins as Sigmund Freud as they discuss their opposing views on science and spirituality. Gold Derby editor Rob Licuria hosts this webchat.

Undoubtedly, the Lord was in a good mood when He created Matthew. He rewarded him very generously.
Thank you so much for doing this interview and sharing! One of the BEST Matthew Goode interviews ever. So articulate, engaging, thoughtful, hilarious (those imitations of Matt Brown and Anthony Hopkins had me in stitches 😂). A beautiful human being inside out.
Can't wait to see this film. Two incredible actors! I must admit that I have been a fan of Matthew Goode for a long time. Have seen everything he has been in. And Anthony Hopkins! Wow!
It was nice to see Matthew Goode. First, I think that he aged quite well. He could actually play a guy in his late 20s or 30s. Also his point of talking AT a person was pretty spot on. At least, it is in the context of producing a film. People do have difficulty talking to each other. Goode seems very animated on most interviews that I see him. A British film of two very complex men by two very good actors.
Great film, great actors and great interview!
