@jcb-ly9sm

@@michaelh8854 he completely smoked a jazz standard and had more original ideas in there than most guitarists have in a lifetime. His originals are good too, but this was a masterclass.
I don't know how he slipped through the realms to get into our universe but I'm glad he did. Absolutely amazing stuff
The best guitarist on the friggin planet... taking into account his phrasing and technique... my God I'm Blown away!
Took a minute to notice he’s playing though sixteenth notes on the hi hat one handed.
So you’re standing first row with one of the greatest musicians on earth killin’ it and you’re looking bored? Wish i was there, this is great.
@cohalensadventures5331
4 ай бұрын
It’s not so much bored as exhausted. He’s their manager and has been at every show making sure things go right - like that strange drum kit that the booth has for the band’s that played there so they didn’t have to lug full kits there. Check my post with the Carl Verheyen Band that played with the same kit. Both drummers showed it’s the player, not the drums that make the difference.

Music is supposed to be exciting. Here’s your answer.
The looks on the faces of the guitarist’s watching him. Contemplating taking up jazz bagpipes.
The drummer's kicking ass too. Very subdued but there's a lot going on. I've heard the bass player before and he's super good too.

He is Gianluca Pellerito, check him out on YT, incredible musician as the bass player (Riccardo Oliva). No need to rate Matteo. It’s lovely to spot in the crowd Matteo’s dad, Vincenzo, a pro player himself (I remember admiring his solos for an Italian famous songwriter in the 90s), and also Marco Fanton, another brilliant player with a good channel here on YT.

All three perfect together. Imagine them a cozy local club every week….wow.
Grande Matteo, ma Gianluca e Riccardo non sono da meno! ❤
Matteo has the most interesting ideas with arpeggios I’ve seen since Al DiMeola. No doubt the extreme flurry of legato is impressive but his musical sensibility is truly stunning

Apparently if you weren't at NAMM you missed the greatest guitar performance ever. Incredible!
Sublime for sure but what's better is the joy that both his accompanying musicians seem to experience when they play with him and the audience experiences as well.
This dude is so dope, he kills it with distortion, but then he doesn't have to hide at all without it! Amazing!

His playing reminds me of Joe pass. Maybe it's the note choices and the fast runs.
Soo good! He can play his single note lines cause the bass player is holding down the chords 😂

Nice job by all. Not an expert but I felt some George Benson. Jealous of matte finish wood grain guitar...that's what I want when I go back to electric someday.

Allora guardati il video corso di Richard Benson
It worries me that MaMan displays fatigue at 4:49. It's not the 1st time I've seen this occur with him. While fans typically regard his fatigue as "giving his all for the song" (and he certainly has a lot to give), I've seen this too many times with pro players that have to push their playing way over the top due to their work schedule or in this case absolute sick ability and HUGE work schedule. MaMan is more like an industrial athlete who may end up suffering horribly. I hope he has someone who he listens to regarding his physical health or he may be destined to reduce his playing quite a bit due to permanent pain. Just sayin'
