Thank you for that great reaction! Nanowar of Steel have been around for 20 years and there a lots of great videos by them on yt. You could look at "And then I noticed that she was a Gargoyle", "Barbie..." animated lyrics video with Fabio Lione of Angra, formerly of Rhapsody of Fire, "Sober" or "Pasadena 1994" which they recorded with Joakim Brodén of Sabaton. I bet you will find some other gems. :D Have fun and keep up the great work!

As Nanowar of Steel say in their description of the song / video: "Great literature has always been a source of inspiration for heavy metal bands. J.R.R. Tolkien for Blind Guardian, H.P. Lovecraft for Cradle of Filth, The Holy Bible for Stryper and now The IKEA Catalog for Nanowar Of Steel. " Well the film in the background of the dinner scene is "Trading Places" which is played in Italy traditionally played on Christmas Eve when the big Christmas dinner happens. So it is weirdly set at Christmas.

As you go through their catalogue, you're going to hear a lot of musical easter egg type insertions. I honestly think that they are some of the most underappreciated, underrated musicians out there. Their musical knowledge is broad and very deep, and their technical skills are top notch. They fuse styles that you would never think would go together, and then once you hear it, it's like it's always been there.

welcome to the wonderful world of Nanowar of steel, next stop would be , Uranus, , Pasadena 1994, Norwegian reggaeton, And then i noticed she was a gargoyle, and many more ! Just a couple of things they replaced the hebrew " Shema Israel, Adonai eloheinu Adonai ehad" (more or less listen Israel , the Lord is our God , the Lord is one) to "Shema yggdrasil (the cosmic tree) Odinai eloheinu Odinai Ehad (Odin is our God , Odin is One). and for non italian speaking the FALEGN-AMEN joke , falegname is the italian word for carpenter.

Yeah thank you so much for checking this out, I'm glad you enjoyed it! These guys are great musicians, but the lyrics kill me every time. Christmas or any major holiday really is difficult for me - very overstimulating and a lot of stress - so I use humour to cope, and this song is perfect. They are a parody band and have no serious songs, afaik, so whatever else of theirs you listen to next, be prepared for more absurdity and fun. "Norwegian Reggaeton" is a classic.

As you see, they don't take themselves seriously, they make fun of everything, but they can play. They are Italian comedic metal, even the band name pokes fun. Originally called NanowaR, as a play on Manowar. Another band called Rhapsody had to change their name for legal reasons, they chose Rhapsody of Fire, NanowaR then changed to NanowaR of Steel to poke fun at them. Tons of easter eggs in their songs, like Systembolaget is the gov't run store in Sweden, the only one allowed to sell alcohol above 2.3 percent. Knisa Grey is better than Sasha Grey, Knisa Grey is an Ikea sofa color, Sasha Grey was an adult film actress. Did you see the IKEA catalog they were holding? The Viking ship on the front, and the pictograph underneath showing the tools needed for assembly, a flat head and Phillips head screwdrivers, pencil, shield ,battle-axe and beer. LOL. The guest is Thomas Winkler, then Angus McFife of Gloryhammer, he is now Angus McSix in the band of that same name. For more I would suggest "Uranus" feat Michael Starr of Steel Panther, "Barbie Milf princess of the Twilight", Norwegian Reggaeton , "And Then I Noticed She Was A Gargoyle", and one of their newest songs, "Winterstorm in the Night" feat Madeleine Liljestam of Eleine.

This is one of my favorite songs for any season but Christmas is a great reason to over play it as much as possible. Another newer Christmas classic is Lyric Noel's "Carole of the Bells" released last year. Her transitions from Melodic, Grit and Growl vocals are butter smooth and perfect for any Metal Christmas. Tarja (from Nightwish) has just released a beautiful gothic-operatic Dark Christmas Album. Try "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" Nanowar of Steel has been one of my favorite bands for years. They just played in Montreal and Toronto last month and I believe their last North American performance is in January 2024 in Florida to end the tour. Other favorites for me are Norwegian Reggaeton, Pasedena 1994 (Sabaton-type tragedy😢), and Disco Metal. Great reaction😅👍 🥰🥰Best wishes for a Metal Christmas from Canada🇨🇦

Since you said you like bands that are having fun, how about the Heavy Metal Pirates from Scotland? Alestorm is huge in Canada. Concerts are exhausting from laughter and an overload of fun and pirate rubber duckies. My favorite songs are P.A.R.T.Y. and "Drink". Try them out in the New Year👍 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦

@@MattsMoshPit1 They are the kind of band I think that every of their songs are catchy and very different, so it's hard for me to pin down one as each fill a different need. For reaction I would guess "Dressed as Goblins". But for getting the whole scope of the guys voice I would recommend listen to "This is it" also. To be clear; I don't really need a reaction of this or anything. I just think that it could be riight up your sleeve:)
