Cupcake Pooper his personality is the same as a few of his characters: funny, sweet, charming and cheeky

I met Matt Smith that year. None of you are going to believe me but the mansion they filmed the christmas special in. My mum was the gardener at the mansion it was called Stradey Castle. My mum got me to see Matt Smith I had a picture taken with him and I got to see them film the stair scene

Fun fact: Matt Smith was going to be a professional footballer until a back injury tossed that dream out the window. Then he went into acting. And, as was already stated, he plays football in "The Lodger." Great scene, lots of fun, look forward to it!

I met Matt Smith at Comic Con and he was just so sweet! I messed up my picture and had to take a second one later and he was just so nice and sweet about it. I was literally shaking and he rubbed my back and calmed me down lol. I was quite young and nervous then. I’d love to have the opportunity to meet him again, I’m older and more confident now so I could make better conversation

that is so sweet omg :') everyone who talks about meeting him always says how nice he was and it makes me so happy. i also met him when i was much younger and despite the way the people in charge rushed us rather rudely, i still felt really welcomed by him. I look back on the memory fondly even if i have a hard time recollecting it bc i was a total mess too at the time lol

Matt has become one of my favorite actors not only for how talented he is but he's just a cool normal guy hahaha what a cool dude

I love how the woman from X Files is so condescending towards her fans and yet Matt is like "i love it, i think it's really cool!" That's what i love about the cast of Doctor Who, like David, John, Matt, Karen. They give so much to the fan base and are happy to give up their weekends to meet fans at conventions. Perhaps it was just this interview, but i got the impression that Gillian Anderson doesn't care much for her fans.

So Matt is basically..comical, cheeky, charming..the exact same as a lot of characters he's played. Prince Philip, doctor who.

The Doctor - I like fezzes...fezzes are cool. Me - Hey mum! Can I please by a fez? Fezzes are cool!

It's just amazing how he keeps the doctor's typical mannerism. God I will miss him.

I'm going to show my age, BUT, I've been watching Doctor Who since I was 9 years old in America. It used to come on PBS (channel 11 in Chicago) at midnight. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the show. To this day when I'm watching no one bothers me when the show is on- they KNOW better.

Me too! I don't remember the year, but when the original "SYFY" channel came out on cable TV, they carried Dr. WHO. I was an instant fan! I want to say it was either 1992 or 1993..don't remember the # Dr, but he had bushy curls and a spectacular long stripped knit scarf.

Matt Smith's always gonna be one of my favourite actours ;)

The Doctor uses the name "John Smith" quite often as a alias, especially the10th Doctor (not sure about the Classic Doctors cause I didn't see that many episodes), so 11th Doctor just uses it once or twice because he's used to do so. The fact that Matt Smith's surname is actually Smith just makes it quite funny :)

He is so sweet and I don't use that word very much :D
