I really like it when some of these modern blues players does that thing when they play a little pentatonic here and there and then finishes off with some jazz fusion kind of stuff like what Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, and Matt Schofield does. I hope you can cover that technique that they do as well because I've always wanted to branch out of my pentatonics and add more outside/tension playing

Dude- you're a beast! I can't believe how good your playing has gotten over the years- how much progress you've made and how good you are at picking out the style characteristics of so many different artists. Huge inspiration for us!- Ha! I made this comment in 2022 and just realized this is now 4 (!?!?!) years old! You were already good apparently!

Of all the Guitar instruction KZread channels I follow (and there are many) I believe your talent level to cockiness ratio is the best. In other words, you come across as very humble and your skill as a guitarist is top shelf. Many of the channels I watch faithfully are talented yet their cocky personality diminishes the over all enjoyment of their lessons. I learn a lot from a few of them though. You make me feel very comfortable when I'm watching your videos and your lessons are one of, if not the best available here in the excessive saturation of guitar channels. I hope you do them for many years to come.

Question to anyone who knows about the Mooer Preamp Live: since it has its own fx loop, can it be played through an amp without an fx loop? I've been using the boss katana 50/25/.5w amp, and it doesn't have one. I don't necessarily need a bigger amp, but I hate the limitation of no fx loop and wonder if this would be a good compromise. Hope this makes sense.

  • @RossCampbellGuitarist

I don't see why not. If you're using it through the front end of your Katana then using pedals through the Preamp Live FX Loop would surely solve that problem.
