Tried it out on the Farmington last week. Worked great. Better than my other sulphur emergers.

I’ve fished this exact pattern verbatim but via euro nymphing and with a gold bead head, fished in tandem with my mean clipper/hellgrammite or big golden stone dropper. For the stone flies, I like to tie rubber legs on em. And the hellgrammite pattern I just use black marabou tail, woodchuck underfur (sometimes will blend with slf hellgrammite dubbing) and I spin a deer hair head on it and shape the head as such - relatively flat. Leave some straggler butts of deer hair on sides and tear them a little to bug it up, and Velcro brush the shit outta the body. Natural Woodchuck makes terrific dubbing.
