About Matt and what he does with his team of good people, they care, they get the job done and they don't showboat about what it took to get it done or the fact it's done. They just do what they gotta do and don't say negative things about the stuck people. Just good content to be had there. Also...amazing what an XJ can do with those Yankum ropes...the things Matt has yanked out with the Banana are incredible...from small SUVs to full sized diesel pickups with toy haulers on the back to full on 30 foot class C motorhomes I've seen that thing yank out and or reposition, dude knows how to work his equipment to get it done quick and effectively.

Matt seems like one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I wish I had friends like that.

@@GoatOffroad I can totally see that. Just the way he interacts with people and the camera is really authentic. This might sound kinda hokey but, he just *looks* kind and happy. He just has one of those faces that seem fun and full of joy and happiness. One day I have to deliver my mom's ashes to Meteor Crater and I hope I have the chance to stop in and see them on the trip. Maybe my XJ will be finished by then and we can all go wheeling :)

This is what FB started out as, a social media platform where it was safe, fun, and informative to post content and read about others. Please keep the collaboration of good hearted people like Paul & Michelle, Bug & Boo, BleepinJeeps, and you & Jaymie going......what a great find. The first Matt’s vid I watched was the sink hole one, where you climbed underneath that vehicle to assess the situation. The sacrifice and dedication to your job and customer is/was amazing Matt. And Paul, you’ve encouraged me and given me ideas to grow and expand my abilities as a novice welder/fabricator/tinkerer. Good on’ya’all. Thanks a ton for the good programming.

I learnef an interesting fact. I've been subbed to Matts channel about 1-1/2 months and think Ed is 'the man', lol. He reminds me much of my father. I would love to spend a day just listening to Ed tell some of the stories of his life's adventure's. Always wondered his age. All I can say is I sure hope I'm at leadt half the condition Ed's in when and if I get to be 82.....l was in really good health until the day 9/2/14 when the doctor said cancer, gave me 'about 90 days', I entered treatment for stage 3 lung cancer and BEAT the cancer but the chemo and radiation beay me up pretty good, lol. But I still around, thanks to the good Lord. Not as fast as I used to be but still able to 'get er done'. Keep on trucking Ed. Just subbed to Bugs life...

Those bungee Yankum tow ropes are worth their weight in gold. Perfect for Matt's kind of work. Static flats just would have made the process much more difficult.

I really enjoy watching Matt's recovery videos I live in the big city Dallas and I don't get to see Mountains and sand dunes. We used to have trails around here but everything's been developed.

First time watching this channel, I guess it popped up on recommended videos since I watch Matts off road recovery and although I’ve seen closer to 100 of his videos I never knew that about Ed. It sheds a different light about him now but positive.

Wow. I'm so jealous of you guys. When I stopped by Winder Towing to get a hat (and leave a Jeep Posse hat) Matt was out of town. I did meet the crew though. Great bunch. I'd seen a couple Bug's Life things in the past. When Matt's video popped up with you I said "Hey. I know those guys." Happy trails. ☺️

I'm addicted to Matt's channel and now I find myself watching all yours too! Just a funny comment: Boo sure likes to say "Bug" a lot! :) Gotta love XJ's. I've had 5 of them, from stock to my last one I just sold with 6" long arms, locked and armored up. I'm doing a mild build on a WJ now because of the extra room, comfort and power.

I farm in shinery sand I have drug out 2 big rigs and a 550 Ford drill truck with an 82 K2500 Chevy with a 454 and single wheel one ton rear end. Drug out countless slightly larger and similar size trucks. Had to get up and show both big rig drivers how to engage the diff lock. Amazing how many people just don't know what to do.

unidad085 - we didn’t. Matt did. He upgraded the whole axle assembly. Dana 60 in the rear; we’d love that!!!

Well we used Samson Double Braided Lines in the Coast Guard so take your Kinetic Lines x 4 in one line.

@@GoatOffroad That’s cool. I’m bummed that all videos with Casey on Matt’s channel are gone. Missing a lot of good content. I like Casey’s channel a lot but Matt has something really good going for his channel. Just the personalities, editing and content outside of recoveries makes them interesting.

Rachel seemed to be a good sport. I wonder what leads people to go on a snow covered trail like that. Were they trying to get somewhere in particular, or just exploring? Unless I really had to get somewhere, I'd nope out of that real quick.
