I lost my brother who follows me to cancer on 2/12/2015 and i played this song on his funeral . He was so prayerful especially during his sickness and had many visions at the time of God and Jesus welcoming him home that he at sometime he said we were preventing him reach Jesus who he was seeing ahead of him. We resorted to thanxgiving when he finally passed on to eternal glory!

When I lift my hands I can feel the Holy Spirit. Jesus saved me when I was a baby I had hydrocephalus 3 brain surgeries and a stroke by the time I was 5 months old I was a really bad kid. A horrible teenager and an even worse adult I was wicked. In Oct I was reborn and I want to live to serve Jesus for the rest of my life !Hes my best everything!

I am sure you will be blessed with love. I used to feel like that, but the test is to feel that it's enough without the love of a man, just Jesus is our lover, and then if the right person comes along we will have a much healthier relationship. I speak having been in the same place, not from any criticism. But we have to learn to accept ourselves as we are too, that we are not perfect, but neither are we terrible and God loves us and died for us. ❤

I am sorry for your loss.

My husband died Dec 2019 of complications from an operation that was to prolong his life. He was totally fine b4 his “Whipple” surgery. This song, BLESSED BE HIS NAME helped me accept that it was all a part of God’s plan. He “Give and takes away!” It’s ok bc all I have and own, are all HIS anyway. During my grieving, I cranked up the volume as loud as my speakers could handle and sang along, playing many times over & over. It helped!

It has taken me a few years to get up the courage to talk about just how much this song means to be. You see 6 years ago I found out I was pregnant, My husband and I placed our hands on my stomach every night and gave the baby back to God when we prayed. In December I lost one. I didn't know I was expecting twins till I miscarried one. This song played on the radio right after I found out. It was early on. With that pregnancy my water broke at 20 weeks and I gave birth at 28 weeks. My son that survived is Ezekiel and he will be 6 years old in May. He is so bright, The one I miscarried we decided to say it was a boy and named him Jeremiah James. My son asked about Jeremiah when he was just 2 years old. This song means so much to me because even though I lost one I know God was in control. I miss Jeremiah but am thankful for the 2 I do have.

Our life is currently really really bad and I just have to say, blessed be the name of our Lord.

Early this morning I sat before the Lord to thank Him for my wife who is now with Him and the veil was torn wide open.Oh dearest G_d thank you for all eternity.

In everything God is calling us closer to Him, let's continue to seek the Lord, and give Him praise in everything.

When my oldest was very small, we lived with the concern that my mother-in-law might call protective services out of spite, and because my housekeeping was not at an "acceptable level," that she would be taken away from us. This song held me close, and I would sing it and sob as I gave my baby girl to Him. Three years later, due to my deepening depression, those fears came to pass, as both my daughter and my then-six-month-old son were both taken into foster care, and we began the journey of getting me back to life so that we could be fit to have them back. To my surprise, perhaps because I had already surrendered them, or maybe for some other reason, I found that God had so thoroughly prepared me for this plan He had for our lives that my first emotion was thankfulness and relief. And He DID use that period - to heal many wounds I didn't even know I had, and then to bring our children home. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

My devotion for today is the story of Abraham offering his son, Isaac, to the Lord. And this song is what came to me after. I believe this is what God is saying to me today - to delight in Him and not hold back on anything for all I have is from Him and for Him.

During my life i have lost so many special people to me. My two wives, two of my children, my granddaughter and two of my best friends. God has used this song to increase my faith in Him at these times when i couls so easily have been destroyed. Praise The Lord 🙏

Lost my first grandson Jax to cancer at age 3. God had given me great faith to walk through with this painful loss. Blessed be the name of the Lord. He does give and take away. His ways are higher than ours. He is an awesome God and my grandson is safe in Heaven. Jax was meant to live and his work for the Lord was completed in his short lifespan. His life touched others for the cause of Jesus Christ.

we should thank God each and every day because waking up in the morning healthy is one blessing you should always remeber and its feeding your soul.Do you know that listening to songs like these is feeding your soul and we should be thankful for having people like these for having people who lift our souls and God bless everyone who listened this song and the singer and those who participated in the song.

This is my *most* favourite song. Period. I listen to it every time, even when I 1st tested my new headphones for the 1st time. It has a special value in my heart. It is not just about praising God, its about praising God even in the darkness, even on the road *marked with suffering and though there's pain in the offering*. Even musically everything is just perfect. I listen during happiness and during sorrow. God bless you Matt Redman for such songs that glorify God.

I heard this song when iwas facing some serious problems,,,it lifted my faith and I realized that "he gives and takes way but my heart will choose to say that blessed be his song"the song is poweful full of God's anointing.....I really love the song,,,

Blessed be the name of the Lord Yeshua. My son died last July 13,2020 and can still hear him playing his guitar and singing this song in my memory of him❤️

Just read about Job losing everything including his children and thought of this song! Job 1:20 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD." In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.

We are a humble parish choir struggling to sing beautiful hymns and anthems to our organ, but over half of our services are recorded Kendrich Redman music etc. Leaving our congregation cold and bewildered, the sound sounds so alien, with the huge screens, in our medieval church, how sad, let's get back to the reverend worship which will go full circle I pray

I lost my big brother to cancer recently. It is real tough. I know I am blessed because Holy Spirit spoke to me several times through sisters in my church. Lord gave me plenty of comforts, encouragement and assurance. But sometimes I can’t help but questioning Him... how could He let this happen to my brother, a wonderful son, husband and father.... he was so young... Our Lord indeed gives and takes away.... in the end I can only bow down and thank Him... for everything. Through all my heartbreaks, doubts and fears, He never leaves me. He gave me strength to affirm my brother’s faith in his deathbed. He encouraged me when I was lost and confused. He is good and His love endures forever.
