This is the first time I've heard Matt Hagan make a speech longer than a minute. What a great speaker! As our funny car champion he will be a wonderful representative for the sport.

I said it before and I will say it again Matt Hagan is going to be the John Force of his generation and others.....i Am an avid JFR fan since day one.but i am a hard core Mopar guy i cheer for both but I see Matt Hagan going to the top because he loves the sport...👍👌✌️

@@dakotaautosales9673 no for the simple fact Ron Capps is quite older than Hagan and Hagan has 2 more championships and more time to accomplish more. Don't get me wrong I love Ron Capps great driver and legend of the sport but what he said when Dodge didn't re-up his contact was wrong did it suck? Yes but it's business not personal.... and unfortunately Ron went a little personal.

@@dakotaautosales9673 ahh no John Force has never bad mouthed a sponsor for leaving or going a different direction...yea he talks the talk and walks the walk....if anything like that "should" have happened it would have been when Ford and Castrol pulled out of contracts and nhra....he would have had every right to say things but he didn't...why because it's business..... and he knew enough to know it wasn't personal..... John Force got Ford to allow him to put Camero/ Chevrolet vinyl graphics on the mustang bodies he had because they were trying to build the Camero bodies...yes 1 and 1/2 to 2 seasons they were Ford mustang bodies with Camero graphics on them........and to have GM come back to sponsor you after they pulled out for financial reasons......... Capps started in a Chevy with the Snake then Don Schumacher bought the team and he had dodge....why didn't GM go after Capps when he needed a body sponsor? Force and Capps in bowties? That would have been marketing genius.... and Ford was only with tasca...and Ford only came back because of tasca...I don't think Wilkerson is getting anything from Ford except maybe a discount on bodies he has said it costs him 50k when he destroys the body .........but even if you get the shaft from sponsors you keep it between you and the sponsor.... just saying and Matt being the JF of this generation is my opinion and you can have yours it's all good 👍

@@ronaldmoparornocar9590castrol pulled out off all motorsports because Brett Steven’s an Australian drag racer who was sponsored by castrol was a major drug dealer who got caught

I sure hope that Matt isn't taking steroids, he is starting to look ridiculously huge!

These younger guys are great.Still can't hold a candle to John Force in his prime.
