Any successful small business owner is like this. If your company only has a handful (or a single) location, you should absolutely know every single inch of how it operates. That's just a given. Your comment is essentially like saying, "I love how the parents are so involved in their children's lives and seem like they really love them". Well yeah, that's pretty much the vast majority of small business owners and parents.

@@roots4x I think the point is that he doesn't have to know every single detail of the business, he could just as well simply have learned the big picture stuff, paid the bills and hired a on-site manager to deal with the details. I mean it's a car storage facility, I doubt the customers care if the CEO knows everything about everything or if the manager knows it, or if anyone knows it tbf. I know I wouldn't give a crap about how much hp the lift motors had or how they created the light fixtures in the basement if I stored my car there.

It’s so interesting to see American electric installations. In Europe we very seldom use conduits at all. In fact running single insulated wires in metal conduits hasn’t been legal since the seventies.

@@pettergardo3874 different system, that metal conduit is actually the ground wire for the panel. I think in Europe it's just hot and neutral.

@@philipparana9225 the conduit CAN be used as a ground. But it is a bad practice and rarely done. Any loose fitting on the conduit run will render the path to ground weak or ineffective.

To completely sell out a business and start building a 2nd location is no small feat.. hats off to Matt and Zack!

Its insane to see how far Matt and Larry have come. I havent spoken to them in quite some time but i was one of the early members of there NYMC and took Matt with me on Bullrun lol. He drove my M6 from Canada to Key West while i drove my F430 Spider. Only recently i stumbled upon him and Larry again and its great to see both of them so successful. I just picked up a 458 and bought a ton of Ammo stuff this week to clean everything myself lol

Is it weird to say but I just like Matt giving tours of things that he has some knowledge of, he's got the right pace and attitude for me to go right along with him.

I absolutely LOVE the detail Matt put into that place. That sprinkler system is amazing, and must give exceptional peace-of-mind for owners. 😎

That electrical install is art.

Anyone in any type of construction trade can appreciate the quality of work that has gone into building a facility like this.

I couldn't stop staring at the craftsmanship of that conduit work either. Borderline art. Great vid

I can respect the amount of thought and engineering that went into this. Wh am I kidding, Matt called it, I’m a nerd who absolutely loved this tour!

When an owner brings their passion into their business you see this level of magic and detail. So awesome and well done!

I always thought this facility was a bit small for purpose but perfect otherwise. Glad to hear Matt is expanding. May his success continue, this sort of business saves cars for future generations as well as serving current owners, so it has cultural importance as well as logistical. If I ever am around LA I'll be sure to pop in and drop off some Madeira wine for the booze lockers!

In general space is at a premium anywhere in LA. The fact he was able to build something this large in the location he did is extremely impressive (and lucky).

Matt's attention to detail is incredible. its so overwhelming to make sure everything is going to plan but to put his touch on anything and everything is on another level. i've been a listener of the smoking tire for easily 10 years now and he's the only youtuber i've been committed to all the years. Zach was such a great addition to the name as well.

From Matt early videos to now I can truly say I am happy for him. You own a business and you just didn't just buy a building; you know everything about it, and run it like a responsible business owner. I can say I truly enjoyed the video tour. The amount of organization is stunning. God bless you and your new venture

Good God that electrical work so clean and nice

Props to both of you and especially Matt. People don't realize how difficult it is to build something, let alone with city regulations and the overall scope of that project. Add to the fact it's a successful and now expanding business model is truly a feat to behold. It's clear Matt (and his team) have put in a lot of hard work behind the scenes and his father's entrepreneurial nature has clearly rubbed off on him. That folks is truly livin the drean.

Thanks for the tour! Matt has always struck me as a funny, kind and nice person. I greatly admire the two of you and enjoy seeing this content. Continued good luck for you two guys.

Go watch the video where he reviews Ammo NYC porsche. And skip to the end where Matt Farah tells his viewers how he really feels about them. "If you're watching this on youtube you can't afford ammoNYC detail services. Also the guy disrespected a well known member of the Porsche community after he passed away from covid. The guy is a piece of garbage.

What and incredible facility! And to think I've been watching both TST and AmmoNYC for a decade! It's so heartwarming to see your icons do something that is bigger than just them, and to watch their businesses thrive is just the icing on the cake.

As an electrician, I can too say great conduit work, and it’s very impressive you run that facility on a 400amp service. My house has a 320 amp service.

It's probably 3 phase. Residential most people probably don't even peak beyond 150A usage in the summer assuming a worst case of running AC, oven, dryer, etc and the only real advantage to having 200A service is circuit breaker space. 300A a waste but it's not like it really costs much more to put in a bigger panel with a bunch of blanks.

Damn this was a cool tour, the most in depth look into this facility I’ve seen and I loved every moment. So many cool nerdy details. Thank you Larry!!

I’ve seen all the tours Matt has done with different KZreadrs (& for his own channel) and it never gets old seeing this building and the cars inside.

I almost skipped this one as I’ve seen multiple vids of the bldg. But you got into the details of the bldg which was awesome

Gotta love Cali regulations on businesses. You have to follow all these rules and pay massive taxes while criminals and homeless have very lenient favorable laws. I owned several businesses in Orange County couldn’t take it anymore moved the biz out. Props to Matt for sticking it out!

A Nerd Tip: Matt should run his underground at a positive pressure, i.e. have air pumped in, rather than pulling air out. That is creating a negative pressure and would pull in more dirt then doing nothing at all...

This is a dream place to own and spend everyday at. Matt you did such a great job having that place built from the ground up. All the craftsmenship and the layout are top notch. This place should be the gold standard for storage garages/detailer/hangout warehouse everywhere, I don't even know what to call this place other than amazing. My only problem is you gotta upgrade your office chair, lol. Great work overall, wish I lived in California, I'd love to join.

I went to visit the site in 2019 - on holiday from Australia - unfortunately it wasn’t finished and no one was there, but it was still awesome to see the progress - congrats Matt
