I always love listening to Aron Ra because he is so well grounded in the history surrounding the Bible and he is not afraid to point out the fallacies.

"my favorite part of the bible is when Jesus is in the garden talking to God (himself) and a dude who wasn't there wrote it down."

I'm repeatedly blown away by Matt's abilities as a public speaker and advocate for atheism and humanism.

Wow. Dillahunty's speech, beginning at approximately 30 min., is practically good enough as to be worthy of memorization. The guy's a genius, I think -- has a very special knack for distilling big, complex ideas into plain-language nuggets. I hope he's writing books.

Major shoutout the the lady standing there passing the mic to the next person. She's being polite, correcting the mic placement, trying to get people off the mic nicely. You are awesome and keeping the ball rolling.

The Ark Encounter had the potential to be a WONDERFUL museum about flood mythology, general mythology, meteorology or ACTUAL history, but... what a waste...

Love Matt's speech. I too have been told I think too much when I was having discussions with a former coworker who was a preacher. I believe I won the arguments when he said that.

Oh & Sagan also was the one that broke my searching for a deity. The pale blue dot & his nova show among some lectures is what closed that stupid chapter. R.I.P Mr Sagan. Still the k about you. 1 of the greats
