@1983Dave1983 Dayum! She watches seasons without you? Lol that's messed up. 😅 My boyfriend won't do that deliberately. He'll ask me first. He'll go, "Do you mind if I finish the season off?" (Because sometimes I won't be in the mood to watch, when he's in the mood to watch) For the most part we watch together, (we're actually watching Gen V now. Episode 4) but *sometimes* I don't want to watch with him, cuz he's a "pauser" and a "talker" drives me crazy. 🤪🤪🤪🤣🤣🤣

I did that to my husband but he didn’t want to watch it, so I watch the first season and he saw the last episode on season one, then wanted to start watching ugh 😩 lol but luckily for him, I didn’t mind rewatching the first season.

This was one of the greatest episodes,the fact that they were drunk but also so relaxed it was fricking amazing

This was me and mom explaining episodes to dad. When they did re-runs on PBS, we watched it as faithfully as the first run. Dad said we had serious problems, as he sat down to catch up on what all he missed 😂

I do same with my husband. Once he was so disappointed he called me traitor.

In this case, they were drunk before they got to the show. They had just come from the premiere of the movie Monuments Men. If you've never seen this episode in full it's funny as hell.

One of my favorite best actors! I love and respect him a lot because he's a man of values!

I feel like I was the last person on earth to discover downtown and then like Matt's wife I couldn't stop binge watching. They're all so good but Maggie Smith for me just steals the show. Her pithy put downs have me howling every time. Maggie Smith is the real queen of England.

I can totally relate. We have incredible TV shows in America. But watching a British drama is really addictive. When the show is done at a extremely high level you do become a addicted to the cultural differences in addition to the drama.

NGL. “Downton Abbey” is absolutely a great show and I loved the entire cast. Even the characters that you dislike, did a great job being their characters to life.

It's great how he managed to compliment Hugh while telling the story
