The thing I like most about Ricky is not that he's funny, but that he's super genuine. He isn't putting on some show to try to impress people, he's just being himself and saying whatever he's thinking.

Ricky is real. He is funny because he doesn't care. He roasts the right people - often those who are wrapped up in themselves. He also roasts those whom he respects and knows have a sense of humor. He calls life as it is and not as some would have us believe it to be. He doesn't have an ego which is refreshing. He is an all around nice fellow.

Not sure what show you were watching, but I saw plenty of people in those audiences having a good laugh, just like any other audience would really. Some of 'em have a stick up their arse for sure, and everyone else laughs at them. Watch the audience reaction when he rips into Angelina Jolie, half of them are pissing themselves.

Ricky is real. He is funny because he doesn't care. He roasts the right people - often those who are wrapped up in themselves. He also roasts those whom he respects and knows have a sense of humor. He calls life as it is and not as some would have us believe it to be. He doesn't have an ego which is refreshing. He is an all around nice fellow.

Ricky seems very kind hearted even if his jokes and roasts sometimes get dark, but I love it.
I loved how he roasted David Letterman very gently.

@@vaibhavsharma7584 Months late but I can help you out. Mel Gibson had a much-publicized DUI charge in 2006 where he made a few particularly offensive comments during his arrest. Ricky would poke fun at the incident more than once.
The "do it like you wrote the joke yourself" one was on the nose!!!!

Not sure what show you were watching, but I saw plenty of people in those audiences having a good laugh, just like any other audience would really. Some of 'em have a stick up their arse for sure, and everyone else laughs at them. Watch the audience reaction when he rips into Angelina Jolie, half of them are pissing themselves.

Yes, one of his jokes that I remember, he was talking to his audience of something that happened to him - as he does - and it involved a trip of his in a helicopter and he was like, "If you've ever been in a helicopter you'll know - wait! Of course none of you have ever been in a helicopter!"
