Besides, they're able to access people that regular common folk can't. We have to get back to the mentality of having the strength of the community to make change.

You're right, everyone does face racism or injustice in some facet of their life as a POC, but not everyone has a platform that can be heard by millions, if not billions, of people. Asking anyone to not speak about inequalities after they reach financial success or a certain class is like trying to mute the most powerful voice in the room. I think more athletes/celebrities/musicians should speak up, because they know what it's like, and know that their platforms can be the catalysts for the changes we all want to see.

@@willydoe7315 Talent wise he was at the bottom of the list....But he played hard and always had to guard more talented 2G's.His upbringing ( plus playing football) made him tougher than the more soft basketball player.
I cant think of Matt Barnes & not think of the inbound play where he pump faked a pass to Kobe's head & the Black Mamba didn't even flinch.

If you watch the video & not the screencap, The Black Mamba was shuffling from side to side pretty quickly & the instant the ball was in his face Kobe was on the other side but still had no idea Barnes would pump fake while he was in front of him. In other words, just bc the screencap appears like he wasnt in front of him, Kobe was a split second before. So to me that angle, although shows how Kobe was swaying, still 9 outta 10 people would have ducked or flinched from that.

I want to apologize to Ramona. This pod cast very interesting , into detail of everything of the clippers history with Sterling. I love hearing it. I'm Clipper fan since Danny Manning. It's crazy how things were and turned out the connection with Buss. Glad for Ballmer.
