When I was 18 and watched this in theatres, I thought this scene was pointless af. Now, at age 38, I realize what this scene represented: it represented our primitive side... and in comparison to the machines, they're not wasting their time dancing; they're readying our destruction for the 6th time. The Matrix lore is so powerful that it makes one look at this scene from a certain perspective. But again, when I first saw this, I was like wtf is this crap!
