Mater Dei defensive line set the tone, the SJB offensive line couldn't hold up, couldn't run the ball. Made SJB one dimensional with a suspect QB and no playmakers on the outside. SJB had to line up KVA on the outside and throw him a fade and it still almost got picked.

The new MD headcoach wants all the smoke. He said during the trophy presentation we want Gorman, we'll lace em up anywhere and play anybody even an exhibition if they'll take it. "We'll play them on Bristol" that's the main street where MD is located.

To let everyone know last game they played bosco had all there signals for offense and defense. That’s why Frank brought it up on the podium in his speech. It was based on hand signals and personal. Also a lot of kids were hurt during the bosco game. Kudos to bosco for doing that and coming out with the w but the coaches made the adjustment and changed play call signals just for this game. Either way you have to play mater dei or Bosco to be in the national championship discussion period.

Heads up the reason why Frank brought up we changed play calls in his post speech was because bosco knew the calls last game. That’s why we couldn’t do anything. Kind of what like Michigan did but who cares they were smart to do that but The change up on calls, switching the play caller and everyone playing changed everything. I was there the Coliseum looks great . My first time there since they renovated it. The game was a defensive battle until midway in the second quarter. Mater Dei had -2 yards😮. After that Bosco has a dropback quarterback not mobile. MD just flooded the middle. Stopping the run. This forced the Quarterback to beat them. MD first score came on a pick 6. The rest is history.

This was how i expected the first matchup to go/shows cen10 probably should have beat bosco last week. MD coach called out BG after the game they are ready 4 a natty title game anywhere anytime lets make it happen

Many years there were invites for rollinson and your boys in red to come to the desert and got turned down. Nevada, Georgia, Florida, Arizona, Washington, Tennessee, And Wisconsin are the only states that allow their high school teams to play after the Championships are concluded.

@@benzanino Your right about the playoff bracket but sometimes its safe to assume. Gorman was dominant but they are 0-3 to Mater Dei and really just beat down on public schools all year but they were good. Chaminade could definetley be contenders but they are way too much of a skill oriented program. When they have to go against a discipline and fast Polynesian Oline I think they crumble. Desoto just shits on weak inner league teams in Texas and are too afraid to schedule out of state comp and when they did last year they got f'd. IMG could win but they recruit nationally like a college so I would reconsider putting them in. And Walton Hell no. Until someone else beats MD or Bosco besides each other I think they should get it every year. However in this case Bosco had a fluke game to Khakuhku.

They have special schools for 19 and older kids called continuation schools. Usually when kids are held back its because they have late birthdays. Again you cannot be turning 19 before you graduate. You have to go to an continuation school. Also you cannot play high school football if you are 18 before September the start of the school year. Stop Lying. The two best high school football programs in the country. That’s crazy that the two best teams in the country are only 15 miles a part from each other. And before you clowns talk about recruiting, please understand that ALL the starters on both teams are from neighborhoods within a 1 hour drive of the campuses. No Texas or Florida players start for either team so if there’s an out of state dude on the roster, he a non factor. I know all the starters from youth football in Cali , 9u all the way up.

Mater Dei has been around for 60+ years only 5 losing seasons. Why are they fake. Mater Dei has high academic standards to go there. St John Bosco and all Trinity league schools have very high standards when it come to academics. Public schools are not on par with these private schools . These schools have a 92 % college attendance with 80% graduating in 4 years.
