There is no football ground that can generate atmosphere like leeds can simply brilliant 👏

Easily the best fans in the prem, think it massively helps your singing section is next to the away fans as well as tickets being cheap and a 1 club city, going to Tottenham v Watford and I had to pay 55£

Difference between English fans & European - Europe - lots of varied, fan made flags of all sizes, before during & after the match English - wave identical flags provided by the club for few minutes before game Leeds fans one of best in the EPL tho

@@saraw6446 If I´m trying to watch the match I don´t want some nob´ed flying a big flag in my face. In England we actually watch the match, and the atmosphere reflects what is happening on the pitch. That is why, although it is not always noisy in England, when it is a good atmosphere it is better then the mindless droning of the same shite songs for the whole 90 minutes, regardless of what is happening on the pitch, that you get in Europe. Have fun watching a flag instead of the footy.....

The difference is, there's also a section where ultras can use flags tifo pyro etc. For Ultras the experience is much more than the game, it's fun even if a poor game, it's like seeing a band, you can sit & watch or go crazy in the pit , I'm not saying one is right or wrong just you have the choice, England the only place in the world this doesn't happen. Sometimes away fans use a smoke bomb & everyone films it & put on YT titled "crazy pyro"! Trying to copy Europe? Look, I live in UK & watch, mainly non league but some EPL & if the game is poor, it's dull &everyone seems unhappy. If I took you to watch Hajduk, I guarantee you go home telling friends how crazy & how much fun it was, no matter if it's a boring 0-0 ...I know because we taken English friends. Whenever Chelsea/City etc play in the CL their fans always say how the European fans are the best to visit all season, I wish it was better in England, but the fans are more like in in America, except a few good lower league fans, even when you have flags & tifo it's all staged by the club's advertising agency

@@saraw6446 we have flags galore at Anfield - all of them homemade. They are flown before the game in the Kop and moved out of the way when the game starts so the Kop can watch the match...and get involved in the match. England has a unqiue terrace culture. Terrace singing was invented in England. Ultras are trying to copy how English terrace culture used to be before all-seater stadiums. Except in England terrace singing was never with a megaphone and drums, never had matching t-shirts and synchronised shirt removals and all other weird and try hard stuff that European ultras do. It has always been organic, and i wouldn't have it any other way. You are right that dull games in England can be boring. But you do get good atmospheres, even in the Prem. I have also been to Europe at several games and seen Ultras in action, and i have also seen them come to Anfield. They are entertaining at first. But once you have seen one set of ultras youve seen them all, and continuous droning only keeps you entertained for so long. Whats more, when you have a genuinely exciting match on the pitch, you wouldn't know because the ultras are doing the same thing they do in a boring match. English fans live and breath the game as it happens on the pitch - and nothing beats the adrenaline rush of a whole stadium that cheers every tackle, urging the team on in attack, barrcking the opposition in a high stakes game and the uncontrolled euphoria of a goal. In Europe all of the above goes missing in amongst the drone of the ultras. Of course i wish we still had more consistently vociforous atmospheres like on the pissed up terraces of old. But that is much down to the gentrification and commodofication of the game - rather then tbe underlying football culture. There is still no where i would rather watch football then England (or Scotland) in a high stakes game.

Leeds fans are different 😂
