Cut I have a different name too. So I felt this from a lot of these peoples perspectives lmao. Everyone is always saying “Wow, what a pretty name. It’s so different. Is it a family name? Why’d your parents name You that?” Etc.

I love Jesse, reminds me of my friend who just says whatever pops up in his head then regrets it and it just spiirals down into absurdity after a while.

It's one thing if a name has some sort of cultural significance, but some parents just come up with absolute shit names for their kids. Worked with a lot of younger people and it really does seem like more new parents want to be unique and creative, regardless of the effect it'll have on the kid. The parents don't need to live with being Princess, or Precious, or any other horrible name, often just some adjective. Not to mention it's impossible not to sound condescending and just harder to take someone serious with a name like Princess, even though it's not like they had any say in the matter.

No he didn't, we can't set him up in this video to guess who's name is who's based 100% on how they look. He guessed Kayvon belonged to the black man, because he was black. What Jesse failed to say was that Kayvon has similar sounds as other names which are part of Black American culture. He was probably incredibly stressed and was thinking in his head that he wished he didn't agree to do this because he knew there would be thousands of viewers who don't have any sympathy for him.

Yeah, it’s pretty crazy how cameras or rather the accompanying lighting can mess with colours/ make up. Robert Welsh (a MUA & KZreadr) has a couple of videos “doing make up with no studio lighting” in which he turns the lights off one by one and you can see and he explains that he is wearing a foundation two shades darker than his actual skin tone - not even matching his neck - because the light washes everything out. It’s undetectable in the usual set up. So I was guessing something like that must’ve happened here :) ...this comment turned out longer than expected, ups 😅
