Bless you for this vid, it is very needed. The amount of times I get "You're on your own!" because I don't want to go rescue with wanted order and nobody moves because even mammoth/griffins ignore it 😭 Especially when I am using Merc, some people expect me to do the rescues for the whole game even if I'm injured and others can rescue

Yeah, and you're forced to rescue because nobody wants to, but then the chaired person's chair time is now after half. 😭

Yah, I know that feeling as a rescue main especially on the wanted order part. Though maybe its because I ping "I'm out of here" since some people percieve "You're on your own!" as toxic, so I don't carry that message.

that's the reason why I'm stopping playing survivor, sometimes I also get terror shock I know it's normal but the team doesn't cooperate either

The point at 3:25 is so goooooood! I always hear people saying to avoid bringing the Hunter to Survivors who are decoding, but that's impossible and everyone acts like they don't ever do that in any match they have. It's difficult to kite AND ALSO keep track of where people are pinging their decoding location. Multitasking is not an option in this case. Most people cannot focus on kiting well AND avoiding decoding Survivors. And if they do, then they'll take a hit for sure if they were to randomly walk away from that location. Thank youuuuuuuu for this video and these helpful tips!!! :D You've earned a subscriber. ^^

13:15 One thing to make sure, pop it before the hunter even reach your cipher because they can do the trick where basically they cancel their abnormal animation with trump card if they bring abnormal at the beginning Also pop it immediately if u see Ann/naiad/sculptor or any hunters that can damage you without doing basic hit

omg FINALLY someone talks abt the abnormal one. i play solo alot and I cannot tell u how many winnable matches I’ve ended up losing bc of randoms not understanding to POP IT 😭😭

Playing in high tier with randoms can be quite frustrating. Though I somehow manage to keep my winrate as high as 57%. As LG, I usually make unassuming noises towards the other gate like dropping the pallets or vaulting while my teammates open the other gate. I would then teleport after I see hunter approaching my gate but not yet close enough to give me heartbeat. It doesn't work all the time but if it does, it turns draw into a win.

I would also say, please dont go immediately to gate after the pop, if the hunter is chasing someone difficult to down they might change target to the one at the gate. I always try to stay middle and don't let hunter where I'm heading, that way they don't know if I go to the gate or rescue that chaired teammate. If the hunter is chasing a surv with last chair, they are more likely to keep chasing that surv so you can go to gate. I'm not an expert, but this has helped me ;)

In addition to the 4:12 part, survivors with automatically recharging item can use that to predict hunter's secondary trait cooldown too. For example, Priestess' portal takes 70 secs to recharge 1 stack, and at the start of the game, the ultra-long portal is on 20-30 secs cooldown (I think it's 30 secs, but I might be mistaken)

this helped my friend out alot! but also-just saying that the rescue part is RELATABLE im a kevin/jose main,so when i play jose ppl expect i HAVE to rescue EVERYtime one time i didnt recue a teammate all the time and on the post match chat my other teammates were just toxic and calling me names for not helping their teammate everytime :(

Well ngl I've never thought that this video may change the play style of my own games it's so helpful and also fixing my mistakes

In addition to tide turner, you will go down after 2 hits from Joseph even after a prime!

I like to think that I have good game sense until I see that 3 people are down at 4 ciphers then at that point I just kinda throw sense to the wind cause....what's the point. I would argue that Ann is also a good camper, I feel like it's almost impossible to rescue against her unless you play the waiting game. When it comes to blink prediction, it's the same with Ripper, his fog blades can go through walls if he hugs the wall, if you see him hugging a wall then assume he's gonna use fog blades.

Well for me as a decoder i need to still rescue because the rescuer is occupied and getting healed

Unfortunately, randoms are just... //Smh// Once I remembered kiting the whole match (249s against Bonbon even late game with detention till its over), and my team decided to throw the win just because they wanted to rescue. Its really annoying. And I usually sell off my teammates who can't kite for 60s (unless they are stunners, i do rescue before half since they can stun and delay). Call me mean and despicable, but sometimes selling your teammates helps to secure a guaranteed tie at the very least.

It won't activate when you're still on last effort after getting double hit. But it will activate if you wait until tide turner runs out and then you pop the last cipher. That's kinda risky, though, if the hunter is close enough to hit you.

When injured. Cause some people who got rescued with Tide Turner will vault a pallet or window and get terror shocked. They don't know their Borrowed Time won't activate because of that.

Pick lawyer or magician (or other kiter who can kite without 12 or 9) and bring tide turner... so you can be rescuer and decoder at the same time...

That was Griffin rank and the Grave Keeper was me. I wanted her to survive after the rescue because it was a bad chair. Since Nightmare was locked onto me, their skill was absolutely going to hit me. That should've been a successful bodyblock. It shouldn't have been my fault that she killed me because she lacked awareness. 🤧

@@mellowmistel I wouldn't see how it's your fault tbh, and from the small clip I've seen I swear it's like she didn't even bother to look behind her to see how close the hunter was. I think if she would have done that she wouldn't had paged, but who knows. And even though she has pages they really aren't great to use depending on the hunter and how large their hitbox is/other traits and abilities. So if you decided not to blodyblock she might as well get downed again within that short amount of time. But honestly this is just from my observation and what I'd do in this situation. I think you did good despite LG resetting the attack recovery lmao Edit: I forgot to mention but I did find your video helpful. It completely left my mind that you could look at the surrender cooldown as a reference
