As per some reporters this match was fixed, Sayeed Anwar playing good inning went to palavian due to injury, Basit Ali's & Rashid Latif wicket says that the match was fixed.

Double fixed cricket match never happened in history of cricket first time double fixed match was happed.

I always miss Saeed Anwar in cricket. He was best opener batsman in the world .he is century player he makes century as quick as possible .he is great opner

As per Justice Qayyum commission findings,this was fixed....Waqar Younus was bowling loose deliveries and Basit Ali dalla he gave a lolly catch to Warne.

@H R totally agree with your comment - Saeed Anwar was involved in match fixing the way he walked of after suffering a hamstring injury proves he wasn’t injured at all!! pretty much everyone in that team from 1993 till 2003 everyone was involved - then the Akmal brothers took over from there predecessor’s along with M Asif Salman Butt M Aamir along with a few others just the way M Aamir said ban me but ban the rest who are still playing and fixing on a regular basis

Mark Waugh stumped by Rashid latif is the best stumping i have seen in years...

In the history of match fixing, this is the true example. Both teams fixed to loose. So who's the winner of match fixing???

Saeed was also better than sehwag and jayasuria too .... Saeed had a different class these two were not even near to his class He was best among all batsmen at that time

God I miss those days of cricket

This match was to be won by australia as par fixed because big markets had put the bet on Australia. How ever during the first innings, all the big players transferred their bets to Pakistan to win. The australian camp was aware of this transfer and played poorly in the first innings to get to 179. However, the Pakistani camp who was unaware of this transfer played even poorly than australia and lost the match.

Shane warne was such a champion that whenever his team was in trouble ,he had shown some fight by bat or ball. . . .

Saleem Malik bowling full tosses and the Aussie players did not want to score, Bevan even got out to him.. hahahaha... Pakistan threw all of their wickets away.. Golden age of fixing.

Basit ali is a cheat. No doubt others also fixed matches but ali is d one who claims about himself to be d most honest cricketer besides accusing others of fixing. 0 runs from 13 balls and then d catch he offered to warne. Even a person who has never played or watched cricket can tell he delibrately hit that ball in air towards Warne.

I think it was a draw. Decided by a coin toss. Which was apparently also fixed. Malik was using a double head coin and Azhar called tails........
