I’ve been binge watching this for a couple weeks now and It brings back so many memories of watching it with my grandmother so thank you for sharing all of these with us I love them .

I am apparently a few weeks behind you in my binge-watching of this show. I, too, used to watch it with my grandmother or with my brother at my grandmother's house. So I found your comment very interesting. I watch about 3 episodes/day.

I liked it that Match Game brought in the titans of the 50s and 60s game shows as its stars. Love to see "Name's the Same" host Robert Q. Lewis for this week.

Most of them were nice. Robert Q Lewis is too east coast for me. But several others were nice blasts from the past.

Used car salesman's answer to "blank" drop? LEMON drop. Surprised none of the panel put that together with his profession.

Blank-Drop would be tough. I thought of tear drop, gum drop, rain drop, and that's off the top of my head.

I was wondering how the heck Ellen was chosen for this show after her first appearance, but now I'm quite sad to see her go. I'm really glad we got to see a different side of her and hope the money made her life a bit brighter.

That's was too funny on Morey's poem... Just when you think you heard all the jokes from the 70's...you hear a new one..lol.

“Come to my dressing room later and we’ll talk.” Sounds like something Bob Barker would say.

The video isn't great but I think is an early appearance of Gene's favorite tie.

Maybe Ellen was having a long recording day. She seemed rather light headed the last two episodes. But, she had a good run overall.

she gave a very bad answer on her last game, usually you hired a gardener to cut or tream the grass not to water the grass. I wonder if she boycotted herself?

How are "pierced" and "nailed" matches for "spiked"? Sometimes you wonder what the judges were influenced by.

There are several episodes where they say "lit"; usually using it as "I'm lit" or "Are you lit?". The first time I heard it, I said "No way!" They're referring to the light in front of each guest that the card they write on activates when it's put in place when there done.

These days, with everyone so sensitive, some of the guests on this show might sue Gene for sexual harassment, and, to be honest, I'm not convinced that some of the ladies on the show have not been offended by his sexual suggestions, and they might be right to be offended. I'm not sure it's worth suing him, but it is surely worth a reprimand, even if it's in private.

So eerie, contestant Jerry looks exactly like a meteorologist here in Boston, named Tim Kelley. Its like 'Quantum Leap'-eerie! : ) Go look him up, you'll see exactly what I mean.

Barbara is gorgeous, clearly the prettiest lady in the room.

Goose makes perfect sense. It means to pinch. "The dirty old man goosed the pretty girl."

Everything had to be all about Brett, otherwise she took everything as competition with her. The people she was most catty towards (other women) including Betty White were targeted by Brett.
