At 4:17, Troy's mind was blown... He hadn't even realized they were all paced about the same.

Anyone else just watch Troy and the way he just sits there and shows how intently he’s listening? Look at his eyes. He’s like sitting there in silence and processing shit. Sometimes his eyes widen for…what almost seems like no reason. He’s very quiet, reserved, a mystery but some how still a cool dude.

Hell Yeah, Bill! You're doing great! I've got 10 years+ now and it only gets better! It was my sober ears that helped me find Mastodon. Whatever helps you write the best metal ever recorded, keep doing it!

It’s cool when a band gets big and successful and they just seem like genuinely good dudes. Of course they are super talented and have worked hard to get where they’re at. But it seems like it hasn’t gone to their heads. They still seem like the same funny and personable guys they’ve always been.

Or at least gigs will not be possible anymore with him. He can't even play the guitar cleanly now... I'm super pissed about that, Mastodon is my favorite band and Brent is my favorite guitarist

too bad brann dailor seems to dominate the vocals nowadays. don't get me wrong; he does ok and is even better at drumming, but he makes their songs sound too bland sometime. Crack the Skye was a perfect balance between three vocalists(Oblivion) but recent songs like "Show Yourself" are too boring imo. I fear that's the way they're going next album...
