What a great review as usual. At first I was not too thrilled with this figure because of the plain head sculpt, but the real treat is in the head swaps that make it pop a lot more. That's probably the main reason to get it.

I'm glad to see you stop in already, man! Yeah, I'm thinking that, and the newer arm and Torso are gonna be used in some other male Masterverse figures coming out, like maybe the New Battle armor He-man. I think it's a better chest design for him! Aside from that! I like this new Skeletor design. I think other heads might look better on it like a showed in the review!👍

Good review. I like this new design! I appreciate new takes on characters rather than having the same old looks repeated all the time. I’m intrigued to see what happens to the character in the show. Also I agree with you, I hope we start seeing a larger buck for the figures going forward. The changes to this Skeletor is a step in the right direction. I think the new He-Man also looks larger than the Revelation one!

However, a few people don't like the new look.. I guess he will be a pass for certain people. Collect what you like! I think that new buck design is kind of cool, and hopefully, they reuse it in the new He-man figure!👍

Great review brother! I like this new take on skeletor, its nice they are giving us something different n fresh although i think that arm could’ve been a bit more articulated but we have to wait n see the new season. Def a pick up for me! Kudos!👏🏼👏🏼💪🏼🔥

God, has it really been about a month since you reviewed this? I am so much farther behind on a lot of KZread videos that I check out regularly than I first thought. This has been a crazy month! Anyway, I think this version of Skeletor actually looks kind of cool! I agree with one person who left a comment that it’s nice to change up the looks of these characters every so often. That’s one thing that always bugged me watching the old animated series, everyone always looked and acted exactly the same from one episode to the next, and nothing ever changed. Reading comic books, especially during the late 80s and 90s, characters often switched costumes and their overall appearance quite frequently to make things more interesting. I don’t think they “massacred” his character in the slightest, as someone else commented. The “Skeletek” look sort of falls in line with incorporating some of those New Adventures aspects of the lore with the cybernetic implants, which I appreciated that Classics did. I didn’t realize the arm was all one long piece and that the jaw of the ram’s head was articulated. That’s really cool! Are the knees supposed to bend outward like that, or are they just loose? Great review! Hopefully, it won’t take me another month to catch up on the rest! 😛

Yeah, it's been a month since I reviewed this figure. I'm also behind on my wave 11 reviews. I just finished up the Man-At-Arms and Sorceress Teela Figure within the last week or so. I'm all for different variations and variants of He-man and Skeletor. I think that is so awesome! I will also always like the original ones as well. Why not have both! The comments are mixed on this Skeletor. Some people hate the design, and others like it. I guess if you like it, then go for it! If not, then just wall away. I think it's cool, and I'm glad to see different things done with figures like this. Yes, the arm is one big piece with that Ram head that has articulation in the jaw. I don't think the legs were meant to bend forward. But I don't think it's a QC issue either. They just can bend that way as well. I'm happy to hear you like the overall design of this Skeletek warrior as well. Thanks again for stopping in and all your support!👍

Oh man I don't know ... Generally super cool design, pretty detailed and a great head but this "Havoc Arm" turns me off quite a bit, I was honestly hoping for an exchange arm ...

Thanks for watching! Yeah, the design and new look or variant version of this Skeletor figure is kind of cool. That arm is interesting. But I also wish it was designed to be removable and switched out with an alternative, more normal arm like the left side with a mechanical hand or, most importantly, the Ram could pop off and other accessories or a plug in hand would be cool as well!

He looks pretty nice, but I hope they use there 200x versions from every character, great review 👍.

Is there a way to swap the waist up from one Masterverse to another?

No the waist has an internal sealed peg unfortunately. I broke a figure apart one that I was gonna use for parts to see whats in there! There is a way to remove the belt and loin Cloth with hot water or by cutting in and then gluing the seam to another figure you want to put it on. Of course you have to remove there lion cloth first. I done both ways. It's tricky. Thanks for watching 👍

When you said cygor, I thought about how I would like to see what mcfarlane would do with the motu licence lol. Even thought I don’t like Skeketor’s Origins in revelations, I dig this character. Looks cool. I love what they did with the havoc staff. I didn’t enjoy revelations at first, because we were lied to saying it was a continuation of filmation, but it wasn’t. But I actually have come to like it. Even though the writing seems a little shitty and too campy, especially if it’s directed at adults. But unless they continue the 200X cartoon, this is all we got for now. And I’m actually enjoying the characters were getting out of it. Can’t wait to see how they portray Hordak. Even though I like this figure, I wish the havoc staff arm could have been a bit more possible. So stiff. Great review as always.

Thanks for stopping already, bro! Oh, I used to dream in the about Mcfarlane getting the Motu licenses before the Classics came out. I didn't care for the Revalation writing either. I still like seeing new figures, and I can also disconnect the reference of that show from the toys. That's what imagination is all about! I can imagine any story with those figures set up in my collection. I like what they did with this Skeletor. It's different! I wish he had some kind of interchangeable arm or the Ram Head could come off, as I also mentioned in the review. But I guess this is gonna be his main design or mutation in the Revolution cartoon! We will see. Or is it fun just to collect new figures that are creepy looking like this Skeletor👍

@TheWandifan I have all those tourted souls from Mcfarlane! They were the first horror figures from him I got and still have those. The other figures like Jason and Freddy on got into Neca.

As someone who didn't like revelations for how they sidelined he man and treated skeletor also teelas overall attitude i absolutely loved revolution he man is the main character again and he gets together with teela who is basically a entirely different character this time also skeletor was awesome and hordak was perfect keith david did a incredible job i also like how hordak is actually a badass again becuse unlike the awful take on hordak in 2018 she ra this hordak was an absolute tryant and menace also while it may look like he dies in episode 4 not going to say how stay tuned for the ending of the show where in a post credits scene we see hordak is fine and being nursed back to health by a character people are dying to see

However, I really like most of the Masterverse figures from the show and the New Eternia line. I haven't gotten a chance to see this Revolution show yet. But I have watched many scenes uploaded to KZread and heard very positive reviews from a bunch of other people in the comments. It sounds really good. I look forward to seeing the Horde figures come to the Masterverse line.👍

The series has been around for a long time and is mainly driven by the fans now that are looking for that feeling of nastalgia going back to collecting or playing with those He-man toys and watching the animation for some. The Masters of the Universe brand of figures had a certain draw to it for kids that like the series or just got some figures in hand. Thanks for stopping in and sharing your thoughts 👍

Yeah, that's possible! It does look like it fits on the hood perfectly with a little push. It doesn't say or show anything on the box or bio. I guess the show will reveal its purpose! Thanks for watching 👍

Origins is only a meme...when i was jumping about the filmation sh*t (Origins hahaha), NOW look at the Turtles of Grayskull...how dump can somebody be to think this "line" makes ANY SENSE anymore? Please tell me if you know an answer to that. I'm missing the red line, the sense...you have no choice -> you can "pick your figures" to a !complete! collection out of this trash called "origins". By the way i startet with the nickelodeon (playmates) 2023 Storage Shell Turtles - They are fantastic.

I wish it was more customizable. Everyone is getting the Turtles license. I had a feeling it would cross with MOTU at one time. It is what it is. I like a lot of different things. I have a feeling the turtles will do well. There are so many collectors of that line. Collect what you like! Lots of Masterverse stuff is coming, too👍

@@Themanchlid Instead of finishing the Origins Core (Vintage Figures) "Origins" in reasonable FAST way every tooling from other new things is no problem. There is no logic in the origins line anymore. Thats why i buy other lines like the turtles (Playmate Remakes) instead mixed nonsense mattel offers... because there is a VINTAGE feeling again. F* Mattel. Masterverse is also really cheap to get (9 Euros) He-Man usw... maybe 1 or 2. Vintage/Nostalgia feeling should be at least 75% - Turtles (Nick/Playmate Remakes) have 95%. =Importance! (Only Price Speculants buy everything). The "same" old (+maybe small updates) thing is the clue - this is the "buy" button.

@iliasfog8857 No, the logic is gone with many things today! Toys are just one of them. They could certainly finish up the vintage figures first in that they are gonna tool something all new like Turtles first! I see this with NECA now! Everything is turtles first. All the horror and cool stuff like Predator that they use to put most of their energy in is now bits and pieces. I'm waiting for so many other things they announced! But turtles take all.

@@Themanchlid Yes! Buts that also the fault of this godddam movie (which is woke propaganda + blackwashing by the way). I should not see somebody buying this movie figures (young or old) in store.... there will be trouble! A*sswarm Generation :o) ..and that Kevin Smith is never falling down the stairs is a miracle to me (maybe after Revolution).

I think hes a good figure! Because im a broke college student, I'll only be buying figures that I absolutely need, but if he goes on clearence for a decent price I'll pick him up!

The same reason the Movie He-man Box said He-man and Not Movie He-man and things like that. I think Mattel thinks it will sell better as Skeletor on the box instead of the alternative name. Thanks for watching 👌

@@Themanchlid well, "movie He-Man" is just a distinction, character is still called He-Man in the movie, so that name is still 100% correct. :) In this case it's a bit different, as they used Skeletek as the character's name during announcement (and BBTS kept it in the item name) but if they used the name Skeletor on the box I wonder if they changed their mind and decided to drop the Skeletek moniker and moved on with using good ol' "Skeletor" as a name for his new look in the Revolution.

@nedimmehmedovic It's possible! Yeah, BBTS and some resources on Google call him Skeletek. But the box and other resources say Skeletor. Maybe something was changed last minute. I guess we find out with the cartoon coming in January! 👍

It's just another variant version of Skeletor if you think about it as far as a figure. I'm not sure if his character will remain like that in the show. I guess we will see in January. Thanks for checking the review out 👌

Heat the head and u can peel hood off it is just glued to the head, there is a full skull under it

Thanks for the advice! I'm not sure what's under the hood. It looks like a face piece. I have no reason to remove it. But I wanted to suggest it might just be a plug-in face. I guess anyone who wants to really remove the head from the hood will use heat like you said! That's what I usually do as well! Thanks for watching 👍
