It's a real bummer that a lot of these 200X heads really don't match up with the MOTUC bodies. I'm sure Mattel will see that there's a huge fan demand for 200X MOTU figures & will come out with a line inspired by it.

Great review! I was so waiting for this video. As you mentioned, the big one for me was Snout Spout. What the Four Horsemen did with the 200X head was AMAZING! Bye, bye sad Snout Spout, hello warrior Snout Spout ready to kick some butt! All the other heads are just bonuses for me but I do have to say I love the new looks for Roboto and Buzz Off a lot. This head pack is full of win for me :) Thanks again for another review. Good tip about the hair dryer.

Very happy with these. Actually, I have no problem with the Buzz-off head. I quite like how it turned out. I do see the problem with the bigger body, but it doesn't bother me. Snout Spout was BADLY needed, and works great as a replacement, and Clawful is just a godsend. Grizzlor is the only one that bothers me a bit. The fur color is a slightly different color, which is a little irksome, but there also seems to be less fur overall on the head compared to the original. Is it just me or does anyone else notice that? Overall, very happy with them all. Grizzlor, as much as I like his 200X face, is the only one I'm still contemplating using or not. Good review, though. (Also, did Dan ever receive a Multibot to review, or did Matty forget to send him one again?)

REALLY woulda liked to have seen the new heads next to the 2000X figures to fully appreciate the influence tho Dan

Indeed, but IMHO that's largely due to the added fact that his head corrects a defect with the original.

That would be grateful to might see 2000x MOUT action figures of He-Man, Buzz-Off, Roboto, Grizzlor, Cy-Clone, Clawful and Snout Spout.

yeah Buzz Off's head def does not work, clawful does looks better, i think roboto's older head i better, the others i do not care much about

These are all great designs, but the problem is most of them (the exceptions IMHO being Clawful and Snout Spout), don't really fit in with their respective figures since they were based more on the vintage designs. IMHO most of the characters that had a significant enough redesign to warrant an alternate 200x style head probably also needed a full fledged new figure to accurately capture those designs. (in fact, that's probably why the 2 heads that work for me do so, because the character designs themselves aren't all that different)

Snout Spout is the only improvement here, but even that doesn't avoid the problem that it clashes with the simple design choices of the body.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was another set of alternate heads from Kevin Kosse. Then I saw the packaging and thought, "Holy crap! Actual Mattel product." Since these are 200X I didn't subscribe, these arn't anything I need.

don't they release tons of variations of these characters anyway? i don't see the point in this head pack when you can just buy a whole new figure. The heads are too detailed and clash with the vintage style bodies. just by the alt figures if you want them to look different.
