That panoramic view of the battle was scary. I am amazed that seeing something like that they could go up on another mission. To do it 25 times knowing what could happen.

If you watch episode 4 there's a scene with hay bales in background ,They are the big round bales , those bailers were not made until 1972

A bomb group contained three or four squadrons, not "squads". An infantry platoon consists of three nine to 11-man rifle squads. A bomb group is comparable to an infantry regiment, ie three or four battalions. A squadron equates to an infantry battallion, ie hundreds of men.

@@GhostBravo3-1 They always change the book, they can change this part hahaha. I found that intro scene strange, it looks a lot like him. But I think it's difficult, because even the date he died in the series matches the real one, so probably he is dead dead 😢

Episode 1-2 were extremely meh. Episode 3 had me on the edge of my seat. Watched it again with my dad last night and he enjoyed the heck out of the episode. Can't wait for future episodes !

TOTALLY agree, they weren't bad, they were definitely good, but not as good as the third, and judging by what's coming on episode 4, it's seems like it's gonna be even better

They took some liberties with history in Episode 3. The 100th Bomb Group was on the Regensburg portion of the Regensburg-Schweinfurt mission, so they did not go to Africa, but returned to England directly. They did lose nine of the 21 bombers they sent out, almost half of the 20 bombers lost by the Regensburg strike group.

Nope, they went to Africa. Mentioned in both Miller's book and Crosby's book. It's where Egan got the fez he's seen wearing in various photos.

While yes they were on the Regensburg mission, you were wrong they went back to England. The Regensburg raids went to Africa. It was the Schweinfurt raids that returned to England.

Wait till you see No:4!!!! It's epic and really sets up for a mega Ep:5
