I respect the guys that put in the off time to tie leaders and make their own baits and stuff, but i prefer to just use mono line and tie directly to the line. There are beads and clamp on weights if youre going for a specific rig but i rarely use those in my area. Where i live my bass tackle box (bass being the main target species here) only needs Weedless bass jigs, soft plastics, some bullet weights and single hooks, a few lipless cranks(rattle traps), and of course a few whopper ploppers for that top water action. Maybe throw in a frog if im fishing really covered water.
