Thank you for another great video! I love the fact that you make this so accessible to people who don't have a lot of processing equipment. I usually work with medium fibers, and this makes me really want to give longwools a solid try.

I have heard so many rave reviews of Gotland I really need to try it! Thank you for this info. I will get a dog comb! I don't have fiber combs so that will work great. I spun a white Romney that I added silk to today and will need to prepare more. It was an exceptionally soft Romney and really lovely. Love seeing your pup.

I use a dog/cat slikker brush as a flicker, but I like the idea of using a dog comb, thank you for the idea!!!

Hi Becca, I hope you, Andrew and Millie are all OK xx x❣️❣️❣️ Thankyou so much for sharing this video podcast. Your timing of this video podcast is perfect 👌 I love the look of all your floofy Gotland.🐑🐑🐑 Your Handspun Yarn and your Knitted Swatch look amazing and beautiful. 🎉🎉🎉 I have 200gms of BFL, I wasn't sure how I was going to use them as they're in their natural colour. But I think I might spin them as they are. I also have 500gms of a skirted but unwashed fleece, its a rare sheep breed ( can't quite remember the name of). It does look a nice one though. Art Yarn is called Art Yarn. I love making Art Batts on my Blending Board, they do spin differently from a yarn that you'd want to use for eg, in a pair of socks 🧦. I have a few Art Yarns in my stash that I have enjoyed Spinning, not sure yet what I'm going to do with them. But they're a fun spin. I love tagging along on your walks, your scenery is breathtaking. I think Wales has some of the most beautiful places in the UK. Hope you have a Wonderful Weekend and Week 🌞🔆✨️🌟 Happy Spinning Fibre Friend 🎡🐑🥰 Take care and stay safe Lots of love to you and Andrew and Big Hugs and Cuddles for Millie ..Jen xxxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🐕🫂🫂

Thank you. I'm sure you would enjoy the country and coast line of West Wales.
At some stage in the future, could you please demonstrate blending with a hackle and a diz.

Yes Bec's fiber is always a joy to spin . We do indeed live a few miles Fishguard. We love living in Pembrokeshire.
Fab video thanks Becca, I'm dipping my toes into longwools with the tour de fleece pack from Crafty Cat Knitty Bits, It contained amongst other things some lovely gotland which I will be looking out for again. How do you feel about Romney? I have a Romney x shetland fleece and am still considering how to prep it so this video is very timely. Best wishes Jenny

Romney is a lovely breed and particularly good for weaving rugs . I have a Romney Shetland cross in my stash which I'm saving for an episode on coloured wools . I think it's a wonderful cross you get the best of both worlds. I hope you have fun spinning it . Oh and Gotland is a bit addictive 😁🐏🧶
Seeing the seaweed there made me wonder. Have out ever heard of a seaweed that is good for dying?

Yes some seaweeds do produce a dye Dulse is often said to be the best one I had a very pale colour change when I tried it .
I had no idea that Yarrow is good for dying! What color can you get from it? I have quite a bit available.😊

I am working on a video at the moment dying with Yarrow. The colour will depend on the mordants you use but it's a range of greens.
