Played well over 100 leagues w UR Prowess and I am convinced that Spirebluff Canal does not belong in it. It doesn’t sac to lava dart, ETB tapped often enough. Would just go with extra fetches to also help fill GY for breach.

Gotta love jeskai prowess. It presents you with some very intriguing in game choices, it's a challenge to play perfectly, but at the same time it has an amazing potential and is always great fun. Reid's playing is always interesting and entertaining.

I run a really similar deck. It’s more of an amalgamation of 8-Blast but I love, love, love Izzet-Prowess; so much potential and very adaptive.

Weird that all those black lands look like islands. This version of Jund is different than I expected 😂

It is Izzet after all (unlike the last vid).

Prismatic ending is the best card against chalice. You could maybe run engineered explosives if you don't want to splash white.

The real problem you ran into with r/g was your own blood moon and not a single forest in the entire 75. And immediately seeing the same thing here.. though maybe wont be an issue this time. Kind wanna see how it shakes out when the great sb card is used asymmetrically like it is supposed. Like even as a sb card to side in with it

That's what mana morphos is for, to save you from your own blood moon. (not really, but the idea of spell piercing someone under blood moon is quite funny)

oh god that elf game. Opponent like why is Reid spinning his wheels I got this w.... then a bit later... oh I'm in danger

Endurance is just an insane beating for this deck no matter what, almost impossible to play around it since the deck has no counters for it. Game 3 against Living End the Endurance still blows you out even if you play the Iteration and hit the land to hold up the Fluster.

True. I don't know of a one mana counterspell that unconditionally tags endurance, and red's instant speed one mana removals that deal at least 4 damage all seem to involve either the graveyard or a 2-for-1.

you could ditch the drc+breach package and go the stormwing entity route, slows the deck down a little but you don't get blown out by endurance

Couldn't you have discarded that lava dart to bring your hand down to 7 because you had 8 in it and then cast it by sacrificing a steam vents on the opponents upkeep?
