I could listen to Mat Auryn for hours and days, the wealth of information in this interview, and threads to pull from, to go deeper into is fascinating. I loved the mention of Jung, individuation, alchemy and the tri-part soul, I have already been fascinated with Jung and Alchemy and am very drawn to it so having it explained so succinctly is great. There is a lot to dig into deeper. I loved reading psychic witch, I think Mat Auryn has a gift of being able to explain very abstract topics very practically and in a way that is easy to understand. I would love to read a book from him about alchemy.

At the end of the day, psychic development is by far the most important thing to focus on when learning magic, imo. The basic mechanics of magic are super easy, sigil, servitor, evocation, energy healing, and astral projection etc. How psychic you are sets the bar on your magic.

Grounding and Centering are Fundamental. 'Spiritual Bypassing' or 'Escapism' is a real thing. Balance is everything... Great Interview, Thank You!

In traditional kungfu there's an exercise where you send your chi into the center of the earth and anchor it. Also one where you visualize roots of energy spreading into the ground like a tree. Mostly from horse stance, but you can do it from other stances.

At first listening with seeing Jasons' calm demure it's like coming into the realm of the Dead being represented by the god himself through a mortal ~ as one often unknowing following that deity ~ as lighting a cigarette backwards were the filtered end catches, becoming aware of just how up-loaded ~ though it's the Taste effect of the chemical I mean. The Bird part was an affirmation to me, as at Times entering into the Alpha states ascribing definitions and directions for signs (1) by color, The Red Bird is the closest Cardinal/Shepard W/being 1st mainly to catch into Words stringing into statements onto sentences. Air is higher than those on the Ground and sew regions ethereal.

I find this conversation's many tangents to be interesting for personal practical reasons, and for things like checking my references while two of them are mentioning theirs and talking about the references of their references (Crowley's and Jung's references.
