I love trading Cumulative Delta Divergence on the futures market, specifically the Nasdaq futures contract. It's a great tool particularly when price is coming to an area of support or resistance (price approaches the level, delta divergence confirms the level and a possible price reversal). Or price breaks through the level, Delta Divergence can confirm or invalidate the breakout.

I often see price staying level (like when price is in a trading range) but RSI making higher highs. Is this a bullish divergence -- I never see this type of divergence discussed?

I always get caught in situations where divergence is present, previous high was taken out. But it turns out to only be a either a consolidation before trend continuation (forming a flag) or a deep pullback before continuing with the trend. I can even see those in the examples from this video. How do I filter out those false readings? Really appreciate an answer

Always know market trend does not move in a straight line. Deep pull backs after strong trends explains it. But never panic, just use moving Averages to filter the pullbacks .Moreover, When you see a flag or consolidations forming in the direction of a trend, then you should just relax and add up to your trades on break and retest of those patterns.....But when these patterns form at key support and Resistance... You should know there will soon be reversals..

@@snroz how to use moving average to filter if it's just a pullback? Normally the 200MA is to determine the overall trend right? So if we're looking for a trend reversal we are anticipating a cross of the 200MA, so it shouldn't matter. Thanks for the reply. Appreciate an explanation.
