I generally add 50 percent qty on breakout and if pull back happened then add rest of qty.

I’m answer to your question, I trade retests and breakouts. If you can manage risk for both styles, why not? Basically if you’ve mastered risk management it’s very hard to lose money.

SMA and MA is basically the same. Do you mean SMA and EMA? The answer is yes, there’s no difference which you’re going to use as long as it works for the instrument you trade.
