    for the render time, will it render at the maximum quality or at the render quality that I've put?

    Hi there, it will render at whatever your render settings have been set to. This feature just makes use of the cache to speed the rendering up. Essentially what it's doing is making use of the pre-processed footage that has been processed in the background whilst editing or grading, that way recourses can be focused on just rendering the images and only processing that which hasn't already been. This is a huge life saver on massive projects but don't forget to go and clear your render caches when you are finished with a project or your storage will be eaten away very quickly! I like to set my cache locations strategically in my timeline settings.
