1vXs usually make me so mad because I don’t survive them all when I’ve got everyone down to 1 slash to death. This has made me realise I should just enjoy the fact that I managed to kill a few by the end of it. This vid will help me get a couple more though so cheers, your videos are always so good

these videos are immensely helpful

war axe is so fun in 1vX, its like a maul with less damage but more speed and reach, plus it doesnt have hit stop. but zwei is so long and you dont really have to worry about missing a hit by an inch or two i usually run with a 2-3-1, war axe and bloodlust

Great video,I use the maul in frontline a lot, because in congestion you only need a one shot to get a kill at 75%,I usually hit once and let my teammates take care of the assist and move on to the next opponent .One on one it struggles, depends if they can read the feints. Regularly 40 to 50 kill games with that strategy . Nothing in your class but. Best mordhau channel on youtube. Get on Twitch, I would subscribe for sure.

I feel like they should reduce maul body dmg to 70 so you dont get a kill granted for just hitting them and a teammate finishing them off.. The 1hit to the head is already strong enough. This just boost Maul popularity through the roof.

Most rewarding 1vX is when you do it with something like a one-handed axe, or a falchion. Not only do you get kills, but also free salt in chat. Also, how do you stack armor? Zwei costs 10 points. You recommend bandage. That leaves you with only 4 points for armor. You either have zwei, or armor. Not both.

Im also not advocating that heavily for this particular build. Its just a loadout that I can high frag with.

Totally true. So many Mordhau videos are just convoluted waffling.

I'm still struggling on hitting heads as I play in 3rd Person view. So you go ego view or 3rd Person view?

Much prefer 1st person unless your using catapult or possibly some other non standard mele combat. Thibg are much harder to time in 3rd person.

1:30 Mind if i ask, is that 144hz? Even with Packet loss it still seem rather smooth.

So how do you handle 1v4 where they are all attacking at seperate times? I can't block that fast with any weapon and they're all coming from different directions

So the goal is to footwork so that there is never more than 2 hitting you at once. Typically how I consistantly block two or more attacks is by chamber feint to parry the second target and repeat until you find an opening to riposte drag. Alternatevely or in tandom you can double parry but there is less control over your parry timing. Double parry is best for two attacks that arrive quickly after eachother.

@@KNGHTS I know you said to try to "corral" them in in horde, but I can't even do it in horde. Could you make a more detailed video about how to do stuff like that? I like your stuff but a lot of the videos seem to be aimed at people who are lvl 50+ and can win 50% of their duels. I'm lucky to get 2 to 3 kills in a dueling match, even if they're lower levels

yeah i think its slightly dominant on the left, must have accidentally shifted the balance, at least it isnt 100% on the left i think its more like 60-40

Why does he keep referring to SWINGS as DRAGS? Aren’t DRAGS when you slow down the swing? I seriously don’t get why he refers to swings as drags, it’s so confusing. Whenever I hear DRAG it’s when someone is talking about manipulating swing timing (slowing it down). Please explain.

hey man check out this video skip to 1min in he explains it. kzread.info/dash/bejne/p3aMppiOqMq2o5s.html Drags got coined after the delayed drag but accels are just accelerated drags. Strike would be the most universal term if you or anyone else is confused.

What armor build are you using for this?

Feint kick, chamber stabs, jump stab for head, swing when they do but accel and land first, keep reposts switching and you will eventually catch them out of parry/block, kick left upper stab, back petal stab/drags. They aren’t always the easiest to deal with but I employ those strategies.

3:00 you said halberd is too long and zwihander is better bzt they have the exact same length (135 cm/ 53 inches)

Saying heavy armour is the only option for 1vX is stupid. Yes it is preferred and makes the job easier for most: however superior footwork and fast movement speed also go a long way.

Ace Its better for newer players, and having lighter armor means more weapons can kill you in a single hit, and you can't take as many hits so its more of a thing for people who are better at the game.

For pubs 1vX is a cake walk sometimes. Scrims is a different story

@@KNGHTS Obviously if you play against someone who doesnt know how to parry or move in the game its easy to fucking 1v10, but for someone who knows how to play this game its quite difficult to even 1v2. In scrims for example it doesnt depend if you are good enough to win that 1v2 it depends if the enemy makes mistakes.
