Yeah. Literally pressured him everywhere. Almost unplayable for Black. Practically speaking that "Blunder" was almost better than the alternatives. Any sub 2000 would have lost the game in 5 moves there but they are still trash talking.

In a position like that I kind of breathe a sigh of relief that all I lose is an exchange and hopefully my pieces aren’t so trapped
I love how Danya gets really excited when he calculates a beautiful line but instantly gets disappointed when he realizes it doesnt work 😂

This was awesome, great game, loved that you were not just willing but excited to come on and talk about it after, loved your analysis. I’ve been loving this entire speedrun but this is probably the best video to date, and you’re a huge reason why, all respect

Danya after 5 moves in every speedrun: I'm out of theory. I'm on my own! And still continues playing it 😂. Litterly every single time!
You should do an independent series in this format where you play a titled player and then converse with them in analysis after the game!!!

we say for the first time what it feels to play "against" Danya nad get outplayed slowly. We see everything from our sensei's perspective even in the game and in the analysis. But for the first time, we hear the opp's thoughts. I loved this, really. Becase when you hear mr's thoughts, you realize that you are on the side of a gm and how unpleasant it looks to play against a gm. Which you don't particularly realize when we were "with" him. I respect Mr as much as he respects Danya and his audience. Thanks for this nice analysis and game gentleman :) Take care everyone

High level chess talk is so eye opening. Valuable content
What a great, high-quality game. Well played by both of you. Thanks 👍
This is so lovely, Danya's humility, giving praise to a titled but much lower rated player, as well as engaging in an equal analysis together. A great person!
Quality just took a nice jump forward. Great game and good sportsmanship from both sides.
This game reminds me of Brian Scalabrine's (NBA) quote: “I'm Closer To LeBron Than You Are To Me.” Even a CM's thought process and scheme's WAY above any of us. But what a treat on a Sunday night with this game and dual commentary.

Pump your breaks. It's a CM. That's maybe 200 ELO higher than a club player. Just because 95% people in general aren't that cerebral or athletic doesn't mean the other 5% are godlike.

Danya playin: woah! i see some cool stuff!! *thinking* Me playing chess: stalemate
The fact that they got in a call and just started analysing together seemed so wholesome and nice to me. Truly beautiful thing to see people interacting this way, both wanting to get most out of the position/experience!!
I’ve been patiently waiting for the next speed run video this weekend, Sensei.

It's be funny if Danya accepted the call and said "yeah you played like shit bro try checkers!"
I can feel the feverish passion in Chess for both of you during the extensive analysis, great job preaching the master level perspectives to audiences all over the world!
I have had very good success since I started to play the fantasy variation. First, I think it takes black out of his comfort zone, as it is a rare variation. Also black can easily go wrong in a number of lines. I feel that the most common move of d x e4 gives white just what he wants and black rarely knows how to handle the resulting positions.
Loved the post game analysis on this one especially. Very instructive
what a treat to have two masters talk through their analysis together post-game!
What a spectacular game! This was a good start for this week!
I started the Sensei Speedrun one month ago, now I've reached the (so far) end. Thank you Danya for everything, results after your videos speak for themselves
Love it. So nice to see another powerhouse join you to discuss best practice.
Danya: *proceed to a top engine move * "hopefully we can get our opponent out of theory with this move"
That was awesome! A CM got some impromptu GM analysis/lesson from The Prophet
Brilliant to hear the two of you discussing the game
Thanks Danya!! Very educational video, as always

That might be the coolest speedrun game. Loved the analysis
Since I started watching this channel I’ve been beating over-2000s on lichess with some regularity, that used to be pretty rare for me. Can’t be a coincidence! Thanks.
Super cool duo analysis
Such a beautiful game, thanks Daniel.
Awesome content
GOTTA LOVE TWITCH CHAT and the 800's that occupy it LOL "how does a CM blunder so badly?" pretty easy- DM is playing the game and you aren't LOL everything is so simple when you have a grandmaster showing you the way
Great video! 😄
High level content here. I wish this cross over can become a series. Would watch every second of it
damn this was really cool!
Great video, Danya! Loved the analysis! If I can suggest something for the next time, when you are using discord if you could disable the notification sound! Because everytime you got a discord message I thought it was mine hahahah
Thank you Danya
Danya's so cool! I'm a beginner, but I followed through the exitement fairly well. Great game!
Find someone who gets excited and thinks you're as sexy and worth working hard for as Danya finds some of these lines.
This game had everything. Just awesome. And the icing on the cake was getting the opponent's analysis. I defy anyone to find better chess content!
this was the best speedrun video!
Dual postgame analysis is excellent content.
This is art.
This gave me an idea for another speed run - sub analysis speed run. So Danya plays 10|0 or 15|10 against subs and then afterwards analyses the games for 10/20 mins with them, I think it could be massively instructive

What's the point? Subs will never win. It will just be boring low elo players getting spanked after they make a blunder for the 4th time
Omg this is exciting
It's kind of a shame the speedrun isn't ending on this game cause that was heartwarming seeing Danya make that guy's day by doing the phone call analysis with him. And it was interesting getting to hear his thought processes as well.
I love seeing you so excited in your calculations!!! NO IT DOESNT WORK!!!!
Thank you Sensei!
I've played the fantasy for over a year now, never even thought of 6 c3!?, that's wild
Sensational
Fully commited to the game and the game only. Amazing mindset
Thanks Danya, I bet you don't know this but you are my coach, when I get money I'll subscribe, I have learned alot
Great game and analysis. Fun that you go in this a bit higher rating area, please go on! Missed the russian imitation though. 🙂
what a very nice guy
What a game!
Love the master analysis giving the opposite perspective :)
wow amazing to see speed run agains a titled player
This game was so elegant and refined ❤
Wow, the Fantasy is such a side-line that Paul van der Sterren's Fundamental Chess Openings ("A new one-volume guide to all the chess openings") doesn't even mention it in passing.
i love it
The finest game ever of our sensei
That was fantastic. Kudos to Koosha
He is being all casual talking about this or that, which is great but my time would be up already by move ten. The only reasonable conclusion is that time works differently for him!

That's very common when a stronger player plays a competent player. The competent player may not play a single blunder, but his position gets gradually worse and worse, and they may not realize where they went wrong.
Instructional content overdose♥️
Respect sensei... very sportmanship... 👍👍👍
Koosha really good nice guy.
Those calculations are insane. I‘m 1500 and without a board i literally can‘t see anything.
Danya: calculates hard 'so let's calculate' _calculates harder_
I remember a game where i saw a very pretty line after i played a move but after the game i tried to look for the line and forgot which move that has the pretty line zz

And hanging the knight to Nxd6? Brilliant. You severely underestimate danya
Can someone link the pgn?
Fantasy is the only thing I play against Caro as a weakish amateur. I want to be over with it quick, and Fantasy is great in that regards, you win or lose, but usually it happens quickly. So I can relate when Danya says, the position is quite flimsy, but it's the fantasy variation, what do you expect for Christ sake, 100 % this, you almost always get flimsy positions in this variation. Also, it's so illustrating about his strength, that Danya seems to be out of book soon, but calmly finds 8.Qe1, which is the best and most popular move in the variation.
3:36 does qb3 work?
"that's not how we want to win" Smell the blood in the water man.
"Look how sexy that looks! Sticking the Queen right into Black's grill" Danya!! You kinky GM you.
