after watching your vids years after i started my project, i am deciding to rip it all out and start over.... drywall is cheap but a bubbly horrible cracked mess cant be covered by paint and i am sick of chasing cracks from using the wrong mud (the stuff in a bucket not the mix it yourself stuff you use) THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge!
One thing not ever mentioned. It's important to put a curve on your knifes. So that the mud is tapered off without scratching the ends into the rock. Then keep an eye on which side has the curve when using. Easy for me to just look at it. Ps regular razors have this curve already in them if you look carefully. That's important if trying to use them to scrape stuff off without gouging.

That's a good tip, but ONLY on flexible knives over 6" in width. I have mentioned a number of times, that like in this shorts video kzread.infosnvqwM8CWfc?feature=share

Because I couldn’t afford anything at the moment. I had to fix a hole I created when putting the wires for tv behind the wall. I used paint tape. I have textured walls too, does look a little different but for now it’s okay. I didn’t know what else to use for the texture spackled look

For raw Drywall only, I found the Valspar for PVA works great
So I'm going to throw this out there to ya.... dunno if you'll see it or not. I know you're having issues with vertigo. My friend also had vertigo issues. Turns out it was caused by an infection with his teeth he's had for over 20 years! He never felt it or knew he had it. He got implants, but before he got them, his dentist told him about the infection. After it was cleared up, he hasn't had any symptoms of vertigo since. I would love for this info to help you but 🤷♂️.
